Moody October Wedding

Kelsey and Stephen wanted a darker look for their moody October wedding, and they pulled it off beautifully! They decorated the chapel with our burgundy and black fabrics paired with our sunflower florals. She had her bridesmaids wear black, and they all looked fabulous! Congratulations, Kelsey and Stephen!!

From the Bride:

Mutual friends introduced us. I was living with two family friends, and Stephen worked with the husband. We didn’t have a formal first date. We talked all day every day (and night) through social media for a week before we met in person. We were both so shy in person though, we hardly spoke. We bonded by watching funny cat videos. I was also very sick at the time, as was my 6 month old daughter. I hadn’t been able to sleep for two days due to my baby being so sick. That night he offered to hold her so I could sleep. Seeing his love for my baby, well…I knew in that moment he was the man I would marry! That was in February of 2014. He is the only father my oldest daughter has ever known!

He proposed to me on Christmas morning 2019. I had a feeling it was coming because he was being VERY secretive with my “Christmas present.” It was the best Christmas I’ve ever had!

We thought it would be nice to get married and honey moon in the same place. Venues are also significantly cheaper in Tennessee than locally. I had a very specific vision of the type of venue I wanted, and Chapel in the Hollow was perfect. I’m most looking forward to finally marrying my best friend! And wearing my big princess dress of course. We are both homebodies and introverts. So we don’t go out too much. But our favorite time of the year is fall, we love doing pumpkin patches and all the fun autumn activities with our kids!
