Tonia and Brandon’s moody August mini wedding at Chapel in the Hollow was an enchanting affair, marked by a striking contrast of black and blush fabrics and our moody florals, beautifully illuminated by our candle and lantern package. The setting perfectly mirrored the couple’s unique style and the depth of their connection.
Tonia dazzled in a spaghetti sleeve illusion corset style dress adorned with tons of tulle and a dramatic slit at the bottom. Her look was intricately tied to her personal style, featuring moth details that echoed her tattoo, creating a mesmerizing and cohesive aesthetic. She also brought along special bouquets for herself and her bridesmaids, adding to the day’s unique flair.
Brandon looked dapper in grey pants, a crisp white dress shirt, and stylish suspenders, ready to stand by Tonia’s side. Adding a playful touch to their ceremony, the couple engaged in a game of rock, paper, scissors to decide who would read their vows first—a lighthearted moment they enjoyed before the ceremony. Their vows were touching and heartfelt, deeply personal and reflective of their journey together.
In a touching tribute, his sister carried a picture of his dad down the aisle, ensuring his presence was felt during their special day.
Despite the distant rumble of thunder, the weather held, adding to the atmospheric ambiance of their moody outdoor setting in the Smoky Mountains. Tonia’s unusual ring with black and green stones and the playful black and white heart glasses they brought for photos added whimsical and memorable touches to their celebration.
Congratulations, Tonia and Brandon! Your wedding was a beautiful testament to your love and individuality. Here’s to a lifetime filled with as much passion and uniqueness as your wedding day!
From the Bride
We met at a Gas Station that I was managing and he was a customer. At the time we were both dating other people. Down the road, life eventually brought us back into each other’s lives. Our first date was fun, we had drinks with a mutual friend. He instantly just felt like home and everything just felt so natural with him. Brandon proposed to me on 8/24/22 at the Korn and Evanescence concert we were at. We went to get drinks between performances and on our way back to our seats he proposed to me in front of everyone (20,000 + people).
I have been coming to Gatlinburg/Pigeon Forge since I was 9 years old. This place was a very special place to my Grandma & her partner and I have carried on the love of this special place in their memory. Some of my fondest memories in life have taken place here and that was why we decided to get married in the Smoky Mountains. On our wedding day I am looking forward to seeing Brandon’s reaction when he sees me for the first time!
We love music and going to see concerts is one of our biggest passions. We even rearranged our Honeymoon so we could go to North Carolina for a day to catch a concert! We love to travel and explore new places together. We love to read. We love the outdoors.
