Charity and Patrick’s mini August wedding at Chapel in the Hollow was a heartfelt celebration enriched with personal touches that made their day truly special. They chose a classic décor, adorning the chapel in white fabric accented with our elegant blue and white florals, setting a serene and beautiful stage for their vows.
Charity looked stunning in a strapless dress featuring a mermaid train, perfectly complementing her sophisticated style. A gold beaded vine elegantly woven into her hair added a touch of sparkle and whimsy. Her mom and a friend were by her side, helping her prepare for the big moment.
Patrick opted for a relaxed yet stylish look, wearing jeans, a crisp white dress shirt, and a leather vest, striking a perfect balance between casual and ceremonial. Her dad had the honor of walking her down the aisle, adding a traditional and heartfelt element to their ceremony.
To make the day even more meaningful, they brought along a picture of Patrick’s granny, who hasn’t been feeling well, ensuring she was part of their special day in spirit. Additionally, one of the ring bearers carried a picture of their beloved dog who had passed away a few weeks earlier, honoring their cherished pet’s memory.
The morning light provided beautiful illumination for their easy, outdoor wedding, creating an enchanting atmosphere. After a lovely ceremony, one of the guests surprised everyone by bringing out a raccoon to say hello, adding an unexpected and delightful twist. We captured a few charming photos of the bride and groom with their new furry friend, making for some truly memorable moments.
Congratulations, Charity and Patrick! Your wedding beautifully combined joy, love, and remembrance. Wishing you both a lifetime of happiness and as many joyful surprises as your wedding day!
From the Bride
I saw him at a gas station and recognized we were friends on social media but had never talked. For our first date he picked me up from having my oil change and we went to lunch. It snowed that day! He proposed on a Saturday morning while I was getting ready. I found out afterwards he was planning a proposal in Mexico but couldn’t wait any longer. We decided on East Tennessee for our wedding because we grew up here. On our wedding day we look forward to having our favorite people around to celebrate. We like riding motorcycles, and being outdoors. We both work as first responders so we prefer to stay home for date nights.
