Micro Weddings in Tennessee
Emily and David joined us on a gorgeous cloudy December for one of our favorite wintery micro weddings in Tennessee. She brought the cutest faux fur shrug for photos, and they looked fantastic together!! They brought a unity candle for their ceremony and surrounded themselves with their families for their big day. Congratulations Emily and David!!
From the Bride:
We met on Social Media. We are from neighboring counties, and had some mutual friends. Our first date was at Applebee’s in Columbia, TN. I was 5 minutes late, but David was even later. He says I was late, and I say he was late. We both ordered sweet tea to drink, but got unsweet tea. Neither of us would say anything about our drinks until the end of the date, and we still laugh about it.
David got the ring, and couldn’t wait to propose. So he sent her to the store for some needed grocery items while he romantically decorated their room with rose petals and tea light candles. We decided on Tennessee because we are Tennessee locals! No better place to get married than in our home state. I was most looking forward to finally saying I do and becoming one. We want a simple but memorable day to cherish forever. We were already planning a trip to the mountains close to Christmas, and after the proposal we just thought why not go ahead and get married while we are there. And then the planning began!
For fun, we just enjoy spending time with each other whether it be shopping, going out to dinner, playing games, deer hunting, or being with our families. We make the most with whatever we are doing.
