Little Winter Wedding – Katelyn and Dillon

Little Winter Wedding

Katelyn and Dillon – November 30, 2023

Katelyn and Dillon brought a touch of magic to Chapel in the Hollow for their little winter wedding! The chapel was adorned in crisp white fabric paired with our white florals, creating a serene backdrop for their special day. Katelyn looked stunning in a spaghetti strap dress with a minimal train, while Dillon rocked a unique green corduroy suit – talk about winter vibes!
Family played a significant role in their ceremony, with one of their sons standing by Dillon’s side and the youngest charmingly walking Katelyn down the aisle. It was a heartwarming family affair filled with love and joy. Keeping things relaxed and sweet, Katelyn decided to go barefoot for the ceremony – a perfect reflection of their laid-back and genuine style.
Let’s talk rings! Katelyn’s rings, sparkling in white gold and diamonds, added a touch of elegance to her ensemble. Dillon’s ring, with white gold and a cork layer inside, brought a unique and personal twist to their wedding bands. Cheers to Katelyn and Dillon for creating a day that perfectly captured their love, warmth, and unique style. Wishing you a lifetime of happiness!

From the Bride:

I knew on our first date that this man was meant for me! Dillon proposed! We had our boys (my bonus babies) and they had been wanting to go to the bay to play and swim because we live in Florida and they are obsessed with the water. I had to work half a day and I come to find out they had went shopping and I was so mad because they had to go past where I work! I get home and Dillon says let’s go to the bay and let the boys swim and play. I said okay, Threw my hair in a hat, big t-shirts, shorts and headed that way. His mom, sister, and nephews were all there and I was walking and he said turn around and my bonus babies and my nephew were holding signs that said Dad, its time to give Katelyn our last name, will you marry our daddy, and we are a package deal! It was the sweetest thing, I was speechless I started running towards our babies and he was yelling come back! I said yes and here we are!

We decided on an East Tennessee wedding because we both love Tennessee, and knew that is where we wanted to marry each other! I am looking forward to becoming Mrs. Groce and officially becoming my babies bonus mom!

For fun, we love to fish, hunt, go out to eat and spend time with our babies and family!
