Late Fall Elopement – Casey and Taylor

Late Fall Elopement

Casey and Taylor came for a late fall elopement with the cutest little guy! They kept the chapel with no drapes and added the white florals which looked fantastic. Their little man chilled on the chapel steps during the ceremony eating cookies, and then Beth got to spend some quality time with him while we took pictures elsewhere on property. Congratulations, Casey and Taylor!!
From the Bride:
We met on Tinder. Casey messaged Taylor first, telling her how awesome her dog was. After talking for a few weeks, we finally decided to meet for the first time. I sent my friend pictures of Casey, my location, and every 30 minutes had to text the word “orange” to make sure I was okay. Little did Casey know, I my gun on my waistband too. The first date was very planned by Taylor. She lived in a rural college town and had felt “neglected” of good food. She was home for spring break and had a job interview that morning. We met in Louisville on 3/17/17, St. Patrick’s Day, to go to The Old Spaghetti Factory for dinner. After dinner, we went to get donuts at Krispy Kreme. We got hot donuts and wore the paper hats and everything. After Krispy Kreme, we met his sister at Flannagan’s Ale House for green beer, since it was St. Patrick’s Day.
In December 2020, we were visiting Gatlinburg for our last trip before our son was born. We had planned to leave by a certain time and Casey waited until that morning to “go get his hair cut.” After being gone several hours, he came back with a hair cut. I was a very irritated pregnant woman. We finally got on the road and he gets a phone call from a jewelry store saying a ring was ready to be picked up. Turns out he went ring shopping before his haircut and intended to propose during our maternity photo shoot in the mountains but the ring wasn’t ready in time. He told me of his intentions on the drive and I wanted so badly to turn around and go get the ring. He picked the ring up the next week and proposed in our kitchen. We celebrated with our weekly date night to Impellizzeri’s Pizza.
We are looking forward to and excited to finally get married, and I finally get to have the same last name as my boys. For fun, we love to cook food (Taylor bakes, Casey Grills). We hunt together (Taylor enjoys it, Casey just criticizes for how loud she walks).
