June Mini Wedding – Corinne and Dillon

Corinne and Dillon – June 29, 2023

June Mini Wedding

We had the absolute pleasure of hosting Corinne and Dillon for their June mini wedding at our venue. Their attention to detail was truly remarkable! They transformed the chapel into a dreamy space with white and gold fabric and adorned it with our vibrant sunflower florals, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere. Their unique guest book, a large sunflower image, allowed their loved ones to sign the petals, creating a beautiful keepsake to cherish forever.
Corinne looked absolutely stunning in her lace and tulle dress, complete with a mid-length veil that added a touch of elegance to her bridal look. Dillon, on the other hand, rocked a casual yet stylish outfit with a white shirt, vest, and jeans, perfectly complementing Corinne’s attire. And let’s not forget about their fashionable orange and white checkered Vans, adding a fun and playful element to their ensemble!
Before the ceremony, Corinne and Dillon decided to have a first look, sharing a special moment together before officially saying their “I dos.” It was a beautiful way to connect and calm their nerves, creating memories they’ll cherish forever. In keeping with their desire for a unique celebration, Corinne and Dillon wrote their own heartfelt vows, adding a personal touch that truly captured the depth of their love and commitment. It was a truly touching and emotional moment for everyone present.
Let’s not forget about the mouthwatering alternative to a traditional wedding cake! Corinne and Dillon stacked delicious cinnamon rolls instead, delighting their guests with a sweet and aromatic treat that perfectly suited their style and taste. Congratulations, Corinne and Dillon! Your wedding was a true reflection of your love and personalities, and we’re grateful to have been a part of your special day. May your journey together be filled with endless joy, laughter, and cinnamon roll-filled moments!
From the Bride:
We were childhood friends. Our families were a part of a motorcycle club called the shamrocks and we grew up riding dirt bikes together. We maintained our friendship and got closer as we grew older. Life, college and responsibilities slowly separated us but we still kept in touch. We were unsure of the true feelings for each other and we were able to reconnect in our late 20’s. Dillon always told me if we were meant to be together, we would be in time and here we are, blissfully in love. On our first date, we were both very nervous because we unsure of each others feelings and if there was a romantic connection between us. Dillon came to visit me in Portland, Oregon and took me to my favorite restaurant The Old Spaghetti Factory. After we walked along the water and got the courage to hold each others hand, so…awkward and the best.
Dillon proposed to me. We were living here in Knoxville and he surprised me with a trip back to Portland, OR for the week. He took me back to a favorite place of ours, a path behind my old apartment where we had many hours of quality time at the beginning of our relationship. My best friend was there and they both convinced me we were just on the path to play Pokemon Go haha. I was so surprised. It was just after our 3 year anniversary. Since we have called East TN our new home for 2 years now,  we wanted to solidify that with our wedding here too.
I am looking forward to celebrating our love and start of marriage with our family and friends. Dillon says, “My new wife.” LOL! For fun, we make sure to have a date night every week where we both don’t talk about work. We love to go to the lake and swim. We like trying new local restaurants and breweries. We enjoy our quality time together and like spending time at our new home! We bought a house in January this week.
