Gatlinburg Wedding Venues – Carley and Tyler

Carley and Tyler – July 11, 2020

Gatlinburg Wedding Venues

There are a lot of Gatlinburg wedding venues to choose from. We appreciate the fact that these two chose Chapel in the Hollow! Carley and Tyler joined us for our first wedding on July 11th at 11am to try to beat the heat. She looked fantastic with her hair and makeup by Fringe Salon and Spa in that gorgeous dress! Tyler looked super handsome in his grey vest with a blush tie. These two are an online match that has worked out well, and they have such an adorable family!! Congratulations Carley and Tyler!

From the Bride:

We met online, we joke about this ???? like to say we met through a mutual friend haha. For the first date, we met to eat in downtown clarksville at Strawberry Ale Works for a quick lunch. I originally got there before Tyler so I went ahead and grabbed a table. The hostess sat me in the side of the restaurant where there were no other people and I immediately thought this is going to be weird lol he’s going to think I’m some creep meeting him for the first time all alone in this room by myself & turns out he did think that haha but the date went well and after that we were pretty inseparable!

Tyler proposed to me. Standing in our kitchen with bloody hamburger patty juice on his hands haha. It was a Tuesday and I had just gotten home from work and the grocery store. We were going to make burgers. I unloaded all the groceries and then noticed a card on the table that had “I hope you know how much you mean to me. We’ve shared a lot of great memories over the past year and now I want to ask you one thing……” but when I looked up at him he was pressing together the hamburger patty. Obviously I was meant to read that card as soon as I got home as usual but he didn’t anticipate me unloading groceries. So he gets down on his knee and pulls out the box and proposed. ☺️ Bloody hands and all.

Just happened to stumble across your venue on Facebook and knew it was perfect. We wanted a small place to have somewhat of an elopement. I’m most looking forward to the beautiful pictures I’ll have to remember the day. Our original date was 5.30.2020 and that was our two year anniversary date. July 11th is a month after our proposal date and we were just kinda hoping covid would die down by then.

For fun, we collect coozies. We have two wedding coozies that we are going to toast with. Typical date night is just going to a local bar & grill and listening to live music and having a few beers.
