Fall Elopement – Kristie and Scott

Kristie and Scott – November 6, 2021

Fall Elopement

Kristie and Scott joined us for a fall elopement as our last couple of the day. They dressed the chapel in champagne with our bohemian fall florals. She brought a gorgeous silk dress, and he couldn’t keep his eyes (or his hands) off of her, lol. These two were sweet and oh so adorable. We ended the night with a few pictures of them with his jeep since that’s a big part of how they met. Congratulations, Kristie and Scott!!
From the Bride:
I (Kristie) work in property management and I thought I was texting a future resident. First I texted about move in totals, then parking spots. Even when Scott told me I had the wrong number, I tried leasing him an apartment. He informed me he was a country boy who lived in Indiana, with a jeep and we made plans for the next day to go out in the jeep since that was my dream car!
Our first date, I (Kristie) packed a bag because I knew life with Scott would be an adventure. I was ready for any situation. We ended up going to the Troll Pub Under The Bridge, a long walk across the walking bridge where I got the worst blisters on my feet I’ve ever gotten and a drive in the jeep. At the end of the night, I waited around for Scott to kiss me, he never did though and still to this day insists I ran away like a bolt of lightening to avoid kissing him. . . not true.
Scott proposed to me, surrounded by my two daughters on the front porch of our new house on our first night staying there.
November 2nd, 2019 was our first weekend getaway together to Gatlinburg. The following year even during covid we repeated our trip on the first weekend of November. This will be our third year in a row spending the first weekend of November in Gatlinburg and we’re making it official.
I’m looking most forward to being Scott’s wife, officially. My heart has been Scott’s since day one – ready to have his last name!
Scott and I love to go to amusement parks, topless jeep rides, we love to kayak, fish, spend time with family. We love true crime and watching “our shows”.
