Marlee and Brock – November 1, 2020
Fall Country Weddings
Fall country weddings are some of the most beautiful in the Smoky Mountains! Marlee and Brock joined us this morning with their two puppers for a last minute, stress free wedding in the woods. They brought some pumpkins for decoration, and she wore comfy shoes so we could traipse all over the woods. These two looked super cute together! Congratulations, Marlee and Brock!!
From the Bride:
We met through mutual friends. We have been a part of the same crowd for about 10 years now, I (Marlee) always crushed on him and our friends always knew we would end up together, but I couldn’t get him to settle down until about 5 years ago! We were just having too much fun! Now we have been engaged for a year and ready to make the next step!
The first date was jeep riding, drinking southern comfort whiskey, young and just having fun. Brock proposed on our cruise to the Bahamas last year. We chose the mountains because I have been traveling here since a kid and have always loved the majesty of the mountains…. our families have been expecting us to elope since we first started dating 5 years ago. So last weekend we were just talking about moving into the holidays and being ready for all the “wedding detail” questionnaires from everyone so we joked (sorta joked) about just actually running off to the mountains while I had a long weekend off work…and we just decided to jump while we had an opportunity to sneak off!
We love our 3 dogs, Kally and Kelsey (the two we’re bringing with us) and our big dog Boodro..and our mini farm of chickens..and a few cats lol… we kayak, camp, love riding and anything outdoors.
