Enchanting Smoky Mountain Micro Wedding – Nicole and Tim

Enchanting Smoky Mountain Micro Wedding

Nicole and Tim – April 29, 2025

Congratulations to Nicole and Tim on their enchanting Smoky Mountain micro wedding at Chapel in the Hollow! They curated a serene ambiance with textured rust and hunter green fabrics, complemented by our unique succulent florals and charming glass jars hanging on the pews.
Their celebration was marked by heartfelt touches, including a delightful cake that mimicked tree bark and a vintage phone audio guest book where loved ones left heartfelt messages. Both moms played a special role, aiding with decor and helping Nicole dress in her stunning spaghetti strap illusion top dress, fully beaded with scalloped edges and paired with a short lace-edged veil and her grandmother’s cherished necklace.
Nicole’s bouquet, a creative assembly of dried florals and feathers, matched Tim’s boutonnière, accentuating his casual yet chic attire of jeans and a nubby brown vest. An emotional first look with her dad in the bridal suite brought tears, a moment of pure emotion before he walked her down the aisle.
The ceremony was a rollercoaster of emotions, from laughter to tears, as Tim and Nicole exchanged vows that echoed their past memories and future promises. Her brother and his sister warmed the rings, adding a familial touch to the ceremony.
Following the vows, the chapel grounds buzzed with joy during family photos, cake cutting, and cupcakes, which guests enjoyed during the couple’s dance. The day culminated in stunning photographs among the blue flowers in our fields, capturing their love beautifully before they continued their celebration at Dancing Bear Lodge.
Nicole and Tim, here’s to a lifetime of happiness and love-filled adventures!

From the BrideTim and I met through archery league, bonding over our shared love for the sport. From the very beginning, we became fast friends, always cheering each other on and sharing plenty of laughs along the way. Tim has an incredible sense of humor—he’s always finding ways to make me smile, whether it’s with a perfectly timed joke or just his natural ability to bring joy to every moment. What started as friendship gradually grew into something more, and I quickly realized that his kindness, humor, and unwavering support were things I never wanted to live without. I feel so lucky that archery brought us together, and even luckier that I get to spend forever with someone who makes my world so full of love and laughter!

Our first official date was an absolute blast! We went to play mini golf, and from the very first round, we were laughing nonstop. Whether it was celebrating a lucky hole-in-one or teasing each other over wildly missed shots, every moment was filled with fun and lighthearted competition. After all the excitement, we celebrated with ice cream, which made the afternoon even sweeter. Sitting there, enjoying our treats, and continuing to joke around just felt so natural—it was the perfect way to end an already amazing date. That day set the tone for everything that followed—so much laughter, so much joy, and a love that keeps growing every single day.

Tim was the one who proposed, and it couldn’t have been more perfect. He chose an apple orchard that has been a special place for me —where I’ve gone apple picking with my family year after year. When we got to the orchard, we started the day the best way possible enjoying freshly made apple cider donuts, savoring every bite as we soaked in the crisp autumn air. After that, we wandered through the rows of trees, filling our baskets with apples and sharing laughs along the way. Then, right in the middle of the orchard, Tim asked me to marry him. In the rush of emotions—the shock, the excitement, the overwhelming joy—I somehow managed to spill the apples we had just picked! But honestly, it couldn’t have been more fitting. That moment was real, full of love, laughter, and a little bit of chaos—just like us.

East Tennessee holds such a special place in our hearts and choosing it for our wedding felt completely natural. After going on a family vacation there, Tim confidently told everyone that one day, he was going to get married in Tennessee—and here we are, making that dream a reality! The beauty of the Smoky Mountains, the warmth of the people, and the unforgettable memories we created during that trip made it clear that this was the perfect place to start the next chapter of our lives. It’s a setting that feels like home, filled with breathtaking views and a sense of adventure that reflects who we are as a couple. We can’t wait to celebrate our love in a place that has already given us so many wonderful memories, and we’re excited to share that magic with all of our favorite people!

I’m looking forward to so many beautiful moments on my wedding day, but most of all, I can’t wait for that incredible feeling of standing beside the person I love, knowing we’re about to embark on a lifetime together. Seeing all our favorite people gathered to celebrate with us, feeling the love and joy in the air, and sharing those special little moments—whether it’s a knowing glance, a tearful vow, or a dance that turns into laughter—makes me so excited. But above all, I’m looking forward to the moment I take my partner’s hand, say my vows, and step forward into this next chapter, knowing we’ll always have each other.
