Elegant Country Wedding – Brittany and Blaine

Elegant Country Wedding

Brittany and Blaine – March 11, 2024

Brittany and Blaine tied the knot in a beautifully orchestrated elegant country wedding, set against the serene backdrop of Chapel in the Hollow. The chapel was adorned in soft cream and blush fabric, perfectly complemented by our “blush and bashful” florals and the romantic glow of our lantern package, creating an atmosphere of warmth and elegance.
Brittany was the epitome of glamour in her strapless dress, featuring a corset top adorned with pearls on the back and a simple skirt cascading into a short train. Her Hollywood glam hairstyle and flawless makeup completed her breathtaking bridal look.  Blaine looked dashing in a classic black suit, white shirt, and black tie, the very picture of elegance and style.
Their classic yellow gold rings added a timeless touch to their wedding day, with Brittany’s ring showcasing a stunning single diamond, symbolizing their enduring love.  Their beloved daughter was in attendance, sharing in the joy and love of their special day.
Opting for minimal family photos allowed us to focus on capturing the moments between Brittany and Blaine post-ceremony, highlighting the deep connection and love they share.
In a nod to Blaine’s upbringing, we concluded their photo session with a memorable shot of him holding one of our chickens, a barred rock named Hennifer Lopez, adding a unique and playful element to their elegant country wedding.
Brittany and Blaine’s wedding was a perfect blend of elegance, country charm, and personal touches, making it a day to remember. As they embark on this new journey together, we wish them a lifetime of happiness, love, and laughter.
Congratulations, Brittany and Blaine! May your life together be as joyful and love-filled as your wedding day.
From the Bride:

I moved to Hudson, FL in September of 2022 to be with my boyfriend at the time who unexpectedly passed away in December 2022. By March 2023, I hadn’t left the house in 3 months besides going to work and the gas station down the road. My best friend came to visit from WV to get me out of the house. On her last night in town, we went to dinner then to a local bar in New Port Richey, FL, called Bourbon on Main (BOM). Blaine was in town from OH visiting his family; he had gone to BOM that night to play pool with his brother and friends. After growing bored with the game, Blaine told his brother he was “going to go talk to the prettiest girl in the bar.” Danielle and I were sitting on the first floor level listening to music when Blaine walked up and asked if he could sit down. I told him my friend was married thinking this would detour him from staying, but he said “Ok, I came over to talk to you anyway.” He briefly sat down and asked some basic questions when I asked him to leave because I was trying to spend the evening with my best friend. He asked for my phone number and vowed to call the next day- which he did. However, I was still heavily grieving, so I ignored the call and sent a text the next day explaining the situation and that I simply wasn’t ready to go out on a date. He was kind and understanding, but I never responded back to his message. Two months passed when I received a random message from Blaine stating he was back in town for the week seeing his family and would still like the chance to take me out. I still wasn’t ready to move on, so after a couple quick messages, I ghosted him.

At the end of June 2023, I left FL and did a 4 week solo trip up the East coast exploring coastal towns hoping to find a quaint town full of sunshine, palm trees, and white sand to start my next chapter in life. It was around week 3 of my trip while I was sitting on a beach in SC that the bold, handsome man from FL popped in my head. I truthfully couldn’t remember his name, but I found the old messages and decided to look him up on Instagram. After a whopping 30 seconds after following him, Blaine sent me a message. About a week and a half later I was driving to OH for our first date. Three weeks after that, I came for a short weekend visit that turned into me never leaving. I wasn’t expecting to start my next chapter in cold, dreary OH, but God has a funny way of giving you want you need, not what you think you want.

Blaine is my beautiful rainbow after the storm.

For our first date, Blaine took me to dinner where conversation and laughter flowed effortlessly then he planned for us to go on a small hike to an overlook area of the town at night. It was there he asked for the first kiss 🙂

We live right on Buckeye Lake in OH and have a dock in our backyard. At the end of December, Blaine came home from work and asked me to help him move a log that had fallen in the yard from a storm a couple nights earlier. While we were walking outside, he said we should go look at how far the lake had been drained down. Once we got to the dock, Blaine got down on one knee and asked me to marry him. Luckily, our security camera on the dock caught the whole thing!

We chose East Tennessee for our wedding because neither of us have been to Gatlinburg, so it seemed like a fun adventure!

We are simply looking forward to becoming husband and wife. We are ready to start our family.

March 11 is the day we met in FL.
