Midday Spring Micro Wedding – Hannah and Michael

Midday Spring Micro Wedding

Hannah and Michael – March 12, 2024

Hannah and Michael exchanged vows at their midday spring micro wedding in an intimate ceremony at Chapel in the Hollow, surrounded by the beauty of nature and their closest loved ones. The chapel was adorned with soft blush and white fabric, creating a romantic setting that was beautifully enhanced by our blush and bashful florals.
Hannah was radiant in her short sleeve dress, featuring a mid-length gauzy train that added an ethereal touch to her bridal look. Her short fluffy veil floated behind her like a cloud, completing her gorgeous ensemble.  Michael looked sharp in his black suit, accented with a vibrant green tie, perfectly complementing the spring theme.
Their ceremony was made even more special with three friends standing by their side – the ladies in elegant green dresses and the gentleman in jeans, a dress shirt, and a cowboy hat, each sporting a green tie to match the groom.
A touching moment was shared as Hannah was escorted down the aisle by her mom, symbolizing the strength and love of family bonds. In honor of Hannah’s grandfather, they set up a memory table, ensuring his spirit was present on their joyful day.
The celebration culminated in a joyous bubble exit, as Hannah and Michael walked hand in hand into their new life together, enveloped by the love and well-wishes of their friends and family.
Hannah and Michael’s wedding was a perfect blend of elegance, intimacy, and the vibrant spirit of spring. As they embark on their journey together, we wish them endless happiness, love, and adventures.
Congratulations, Hannah and Michael! May every day be as beautiful and filled with love as your wedding day.
From the Bride:
Michael and I met on Bumble during the covid-19 pandemic. During a time of isolation my sister and I were swiping through bumble, mostly out of boredom, and Michael came across the screen. His profile was limited but something about it made me swipe right. We talked digitally during the pandemic and that was the beginning of our love story.
Again, it was pandemic era and we were kind of risking it just to meet. It’s not flashy but we got Applebees and ate it in a hotel room. He didn’t judge my picky eating or my choice of restaurant. He was kind and made me feel safe. Which is good, because in hindsight meeting a stranger at a hotel for a first date was probably not the best idea. But somehow I knew he was the one.
I was folding laundry in my pajamas with my hair in a knot and singing to our dog in the living room. And he for some reason thought that was the time to get down on one knee. I turned around, literally mid fold and he was proposing. He had been conspiring with my little sister as to when would be a good time and originally planned on taking me to the beach to propose. For some reason, he decided that there in our first home with our dog as the only witness was the time. It wasn’t public or extravagant but it was perfect for us.
We love the mountains and my fiancé doesn’t get to travel much because of his work schedule. We decided to carve out some time for us. I found this venue on Google and absolutely fell in love with its charm.
I’m most looking forwar to getting to officially be Mrs. Elkins and walk out together husband and wife. Also, the cake. We chose the date because I just like the flow of 3/12/24 and it’s during spring break and I’m a teacher.
We love movies, traveling, watching tv, hanging out with our families, and playing with our pets. My fiancé is a huge car buff and handyman. he is always fixing something or bringing home a new project. I collect books and cats.
