Western Boho Wedding – Abigail and Hunter

Western Boho Wedding

Abigail and Hunter – March 9, 2024

In a delightful fusion of western charm and bohemian elegance, Abigail and Hunter said their “I dos” at Chapel in the Hollow, in a western boho wedding surrounded by the natural beauty of the forest. The chapel was gracefully adorned in cream fabric, creating a soft and romantic backdrop for their special day. They personalized the space with unique florals made from pampas grass, elegantly hung in the chapel’s corners, and added a touch of rustic charm with a cowhide at the bottom of the steps.
Their celebration featured a super cute cake displayed on our cake table, alongside a favor table set up with adorable horseshoe favors and an animal skull, perfectly encapsulating their western boho theme.
Abigail was stunning in a sleeveless white dress, the intricate lattice detailing at the bottom adding a touch of bohemian flair to her bridal look. As fate would have it, the skies opened up just before the ceremony, adding a cozy, rain-soaked serenity to their day.
Abigail’s mom had the honor of walking her down the aisle, where she and Hunter stood under the eaves of the chapel to exchange their vows, a testament to love’s perseverance through any storm.
Despite the rain, we managed to capture a few quick family photos before focusing on the couple. Their love and happiness shone through, with the rainy day providing a gorgeous, diffused lighting that made their photos uniquely beautiful.
Abigail and Hunter’s wedding was a heartfelt celebration of their love, blending western and bohemian elements to create a day that was uniquely theirs. As they embark on this new chapter together, we wish them a lifetime of happiness, love, and adventure.
Congratulations, Abigail and Hunter! May your love continue to grow stronger, rain or shine.
From the Bride:
We’re high school sweethearts. We met in our junior year of high school and have been together ever since. We’ve been together for 4 years now. Our first date was to a little karaoke/dance place. We went line dancing with our friends. We then got McDonald’s on our way home and we ended the night with a bon fire.
Hunter picked me up from my house and made me close my eyes while he took me to our favorite spot to fish. When we got there he said “Okay you can open your eyes” and he was there holding my ring and before he could even say anything I said “YES”.
We had been engaged for 2 years and hadn’t been able to find a venue here in KY. We kind of just wanted the day to be about us but still be able to share it with our family. So we started looking at chapels in TN. We are looking forward to walking back up the aisle together as Mr. & Mrs.
We hunt, look for deer sheds, fish, enjoy summer time horse shows, or just to hike in our beautiful KY mountains. Our typical date is going to eat Mexican food or we go riding.
