East Tennessee Micro Wedding – Lisa and Darran

Lisa and Darran – November 5, 2022

East Tennessee Micro Wedding

Lisa and Darran brought their friends and families to celebrate their East Tennessee micro wedding. They dressed the chapel in navy and champagne fabric with our boho florals and deluxe pumpkin package. She looked lovely in her lacy dress, and her sweet dad looked gobsmacked when he saw her.

Congratulations, Darran and Lisa!
From the Bride:
Darran friended me on Facebook and asked me out. I of course said no at first but he was persistent. I finally decided to have a first date with him. I am so grateful he didn’t give up on me. The first date was sweet and intimate. I had been out in the field hunting (LOL I know right). He invited me over to his house and cooked me dinner and started a fire outside for us to sit under the stars together.
So we already know that he is sweet and the proposal was no different. It was my birthday and Darran had made plans for our family to go out to eat together to celebrate. I didn’t think anything of it because that is how we always celebrate birthdays. Darran had the whole restaurant involved in his plans. When we got there our table was decorated with flowers and balloons. Everything was normal we chatted and ate dinner but Darran was quiet though the majority of the dinner. Then came the time for presents. He handed me this bag and the first thing I pulled out was an Alexa dot for my bedroom, the next thing was 2 K-cups of coffee and then a white box that was heavy. When I opened the box there was a coffee mug that said: “Will you marry me?”. I lost it and started crying while shaking my head yes.
Darran’s daughter lives in East Tennessee so we spend most of our free time up there visiting. We both fell in love with the mountains, so we agreed on an East Tennessee wedding. What are we looking forward to on our wedding day? Darran’s daughter lives in East Tennessee so we spend most of our free time up there visiting. We both fell in love with the mountains so we decided on an East Tennessee wedding. What are we looking forward to on our wedding day? Well if you ask Darran it would be the gifts that people are going to bring us. Yeah, he is a jokester, but in all seriousness, it is making this commitment to each other and God in front of our family and friends.
We love to spend as much time together when we are not working. Darran likes to go for walks on Saturday mornings in the park and I have gone with him and I am starting to like it more. As you have already gathered he is a jokester so I have to come up with ways to prank him back at times. We both are huge family people so we love spending time with each other’s families and kids.
