Smoky Mountain Tiny Wedding – Holly and David

Holly and David – November 5, 2022

Smoky Mountain Tiny Wedding

Holly and David joined us a Smoky Mountain tiny wedding. They dressed the chapel in our ombre purple fabric with blue and yellow florals. She looked like a pixie in her frothy blue dress with butterflies her hair. He looked a bit like the Henry Cavill version of Superman in his black tux. These two were fun, playful, and too cute together! Her mom’s name is Cindy so I made sure to get a big hug!! He accidentally locked his keys in his car, and his brothers were sweet enough to hang around to wait on the locksmith. Their first day as a married couple has started a bit of adventure, lol. Congratulations, Holly and David!!
From the Bride:
We met when I was 22 and working at Longhorn Steakhouse. He started shortly after me and we got to know each other through that and began talking after work some. He is the first man that has ever opened my car door for me. We moved in together very quickly after meeting (like two months) but it worked out because here we are now! What I consider our “first date” was actually at the Taco Bell next door to our work. We were both so nervous that we wound up not even eating and hung out for most of the night together. Even though we were just grabbing some fast food, he still held my car door open for me and everything. At the beginning we did a lot of hanging out at each other’s houses and going to concert as opposed to going on dinner dates.
David proposed to me at Sunset Rock on the top of Lookout Mountain. He told me he had a birthday surprise for me and that we had to go somewhere for it. He took me up the mountain and I’m thinking we are going to Rock City LOL. We pulled into the parking spots for Sunset Rock and pulls out this huge backpack and is leading me down into the woods. So now I’m thinking is he about to murder me because I am being led into the woods and he has a big backpack LOL. (He later said he thought it would be more inconspicuous if he brought his backpack) So while I am turned around looking at the view he got down on one knee. When I looked I saw him there crying and he asked me to marry him.
We decided on an East Tennessee wedding because we both love the area and thought it would be a great place for a small wedding. I am excited about getting to marry the love of my life and seeing our families in one spot. For fun, we go hiking (sometimes) and we always love trying out new places to eat or catching a movie we have been looking forward to.
