Laura and Thomas celebrated their love with a beautiful country winter wedding at Chapel in the Hollow, and it was nothing short of magical! They dressed the chapel in burgundy and champagne fabric, paired with our red berry winter florals and candle and lantern package, creating a warm, romantic vibe.
Laura was an absolute vision in her long-sleeve dress with an illusion top and a layered bottom that flowed into a stunning long train. Her cream and brown tooled leather boots added a perfect country touch. Her hair, styled in curls with a braid, was the icing on the cake.
Thomas looked dapper yet relaxed in jeans and a tan suit jacket with tooled leather lapels that matched Laura’s boots perfectly. A truly touching moment was when Laura had a pin made for him with a picture of his late grandmother, who had passed away on this very date. His son, Owen, presented it to him, and there wasn’t a dry eye in sight as they both cried.
Their ceremony was a celebration of their beautiful blended family. Laura’s eldest son carried their youngest down the aisle, Thomas’s son walked down with charm, and her daughter was the cutest little princess as she made her way down. Her middle son had the honor of walking her down the aisle, and Thomas couldn’t hold back tears when he saw his bride.
They wrote heartfelt vows to each other, and Laura’s tears as she read hers made the moment unforgettable. Their rings were as unique as their love—Thomas’s yellow gold ring featured intricate designs, while Laura’s three-piece white gold set was timeless and elegant.
After the ceremony, we captured family photos at the chapel, then whisked the happy couple away to the mossy tree, the rock garden, and the field for stunning couple photos. The unseasonably warm December day added to the beauty of it all.
Congratulations, Laura and Thomas! Your wedding was a perfect celebration of love, family, and unforgettable moments. We’re so honored to have been part of your special day.
From the Bride
We met on Bumble 🙄 but I refused to meet him for several months and he never gave up. The first date felt like we had known each other for a lifetime. Thomas proposed at mud park while we were our riding side by sides which is our favorite hobby. I was angry with him all day because he had disconnected my radio and I tried telling him 100x he did and he kept saying he did not.
We decided to get married in East Tennessee because I found the chapel and loved it, we always said we would use it when we got married. On our wedding day we are looking forward to finally being married. We decided to get married on this date because his grandmother passed away on this day and they were beyond close and best friends , he wanted the day to be happy again.
We ride side by sides and build them. Typical date night is our favorite restaurant Nona Blue.
