Intimate December Wedding – Mae and Christopher

Intimate December Wedding

Mae and Christopher – December 28, 2024

Mae and Christopher celebrated their love with a beautiful, intimate December wedding at Chapel in the Hollow.  They dressed the chapel in elegant burgundy and cream fabric, paired with our romantic rose florals, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere perfect for a winter day.
Mae looked stunning in her sleeveless dress with a lace overlay and a short train, holding a vibrant live red rose bouquet that added a pop of color.  Christopher complemented her perfectly in a navy suit with a matching rose boutonniere, looking dashing and timeless.
Her daughters and their friends joined them for the celebration, all dressed in classic black, adding a stylish touch to the day.  Mae’s daughters had the honor of walking her down the aisle, making the moment even more special.
After a heartfelt ceremony using a custom script they brought along, they shared a toast with their loved ones. Mae’s best friend gave a touching toast that had everyone raising their glasses in celebration.
We captured their love and joy with couple photos at the chapel, in the rocky highland area, and along the road, making the most of the cool, soft December light.
Congratulations, Mae and Christopher! Your midday micro wedding was filled with love, warmth, and beautiful memories, and we were honored to be part of your special day.
From the Bride:
We met 15 years ago at his army duty station in Ft Detrick Maryland. I worked there as well. We did not reconnect until 2022 when he was about to retire from the army, and I reached out to him on Facebook to check in. For the first date, we went to Pittsburgh Pennsylvania and took a riverboat ride, then went to a nice dinner and ended the evening camping in a tent.
Chris took me sailing in Annapolis Maryland and proposed on Oct 17, 2024. We love TN and come here a couple times a year to visit our best friends and tour around Gatlinburg. We are most looking forward to great pictures and celebrating our union. We chose the date because it is near Christmas as it is a holiday we love. For fun, we enjoy hiking, trying new foods, paddle boarding, spending time at the beach, running, biking, and traveling.
