Colorful Outdoor Wedding
Alana and Archie were our second couple on September 28th, and her father officiated their colorful outdoor wedding. They chose our new pink and orange florals. Paired with the navy, they work beautifully for fall! Her daughter played the ukulele as they walked down, and they chose to give their children watches as part of their ceremony. Congratulations, Alana and Archie!!
From the Bride:We both met online with the dating app Zoosk. We met in Ferndale, MI on a warm early August night…we had so much fun talking with each other over the phone that week that we ended up meeting a day sooner than we originally planned. He tried to kiss me on the bench while we were bonding over music and our favorite bands, but I wanted to wait and savor the moment…so I stopped him.
Archie proposed. I told him I wanted a wedding ring for my birthday so he surprised me a week before. He asked me to go on a walk on the beach near my home. I was on the dock just marveling at the waves, and I turned around to look at him. He was down on one knee asking me to make him the happiest man on the planet. Of course, I said yes.
We wanted something special and intimate for our wedding without going to the court house. Since some of our family and friends are still nervous about the pandemicb we knew a large venue wouldn’t work and the outdoors would make most feel safer. My sister told me about this place and where she had been a brides maid for her friend Amber and Alex Clark’s wedding and loved it. So after exploring your instagram and website I fell in love myself. Just perfect for what we needed.
We love to go the shooting range on date night, camping and taking the kids on fun adventures.
