Classy Forest Elopement – Valerie and Andrew

Classy Forest Elopement

Valerie and Andrew – October 19, 2024

Valerie and Andrew’s classy forest elopement at Chapel in the Hollow was a picture-perfect celebration nestled in the heart of the Smokies.  They chose our textured rust fabric beautifully paired with our bohemian florals to adorn the chapel, setting a warm and inviting ambiance for their intimate day.
Valerie was absolutely stunning in a beaded spaghetti strap dress, which was complemented by a jeweled comb nestled in her hair, adding a touch of sparkle and elegance.  Andrew looked dashing in a classic black tux, perfectly suited for their elegant forest elopement.
The day was filled with heartfelt family moments; Valerie’s eldest daughter helped her prepare for the big day, bringing them closer together. Before the ceremony, Valerie and Andrew shared a touching first look next to the bridal suite, a private moment that brought smiles and anticipation.
Her son had the honor of walking her down the aisle, and her youngest daughter scattered petals as the flower girl, adding a charming touch to their walk.
After exchanging vows in the serene setting, the family gathered for some cherished photos at the chapel. Following this, the couple enjoyed a private photo session, taking advantage of the beautiful fall surroundings of East Tennessee to capture their new beginning.
Congratulations, Valerie and Andrew! Your elopement was not just a celebration of your union but a beautiful gathering of family and love. May your life together continue to be as beautiful and filled with joy as your special day!
From the Bride
We were roommates a long time ago and we always remained friends and kept in touch. A year ago we got together to catch up and it turned into a date. For our first date I made him go to a play! Andrew proposed in the ocean during our beach vacation. I knew in advance because he took my 6 year old with him to help pick out the ring. 6 year olds cannot keep secrets! She picked out a beautiful ring!
We decided to get married at Chaple in the Hollow in East Tennessee because we liked the pictures of your venue online. My kids think the chapel door looks like the door into Narnia from the back of the wardrobe in the Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe. On our wedding day we look forward to having the kids all together. Our wedding date is our 365th day of dating.
We work too much! Free time is on the boat or movie night with the kids. Occasionally we go to wine pairing dinners.
