Bohemian Micro Wedding – Cheyenne and Tony

Bohemian Micro Wedding

Cheyenne and Tony – May 6, 2025

Cheyenne and Tony chose Chapel in the Hollow for their dreamy bohemian micro wedding, and their DIY magic made everything feel extra personal and romantic.
They dressed the chapel in textured rust and cream fabrics—a warm, earthy combo that gave us all the cozy spring vibes. Then, they added their own flair with gorgeous pampas grass florals, empty vases, and wooden lanterns lining the aisle and chapel steps—boho perfection!
Cheyenne looked absolutely stunning in a sleeveless lace-overlay dress with a mid-length veil, and the love just radiated from her. Before the ceremony, she shared a sweet first look with her dad in the bridal suite, and they both teared up. Her mom helped her get ready, and her dad proudly walked her down the aisle.
Tony’s reaction when he saw her? His whole body smiled. And same, Tony.
They styled our little wooden table with adorable details, a tiny white cake, and goodies for a celebratory toast. After their ceremony, they shared a first toast and a joyful cake cutting with family.
We wrapped up the day with couple photos in the field with mountain views and snagged some sweet moments along the forest road on the way.
This sweet spring celebration was the perfect mix of DIY charm, heartfelt moments, and woodsy beauty. Congratulations, Cheyenne and Tony!
From the Bride:
Our high schools (about 30 mins from one another) were rivals in sports back in the day. We had always sorta knew each other but never spoke a word to one another. Then, the summer before my senior year of high school, Anthony and I friended each other on Instagram and SnapChat. We would occasionally Our high schools (about 30 mins from one another) were rivals in sports back in the day. We had always sorta knew each other but never spoke a word to one another. Then the summer before my (cheyenne) senior year of high school, the groom (anthony) and myself friended each other on Instagram and SnapChat. We would occasionally send messages to one another but I (cheyenne) was not looking to get into a relationship before I (cheyenne) went off to college. Long story short, we ended up meeting for our first date and hit it off…now we’re getting married 6 years later! messages to one another, but I was not looking to get into a relationship before I went off to college. Long story short, we ended up meeting for our first date and hit it off…now we’re getting married 6 years later!
For the first date, Anthony asked me to meet him at Dairy Queen after one of my volleyball practices during my senior year of high school. I pulled into the parking lot and he pulled up next to me bumping to some music and singing along…I thought to myself there is no way this is going to work out LOL! We ended up sitting in Dairy Queen for what seemed like forever…we were two chatty people who were just trying to get to know one another. We went our separate ways and planned out our next date AND here we are getting married so I’d say it all worked out!
He proposed to me. At this point, we had been together for about 5 years, and everyone around me was getting married so I thought it would never happen….well this man sure did surprise me! He does concrete and construction for his job, so he informed me on the way to our Valentine’s Date we had to check out a job and do a quick job bid. We pulled up to this Japanese garden place about 40 minutes from home and I mean he was REALLY selling it to me that we were looking at these concrete pads that he’s going to replace for the business. We made our way around to a beautiful scenery area and I turned around and he was on one knee. My first words were “are you being serious?” Did not see that one coming that’s for sure!
We have taken multiple trips to Tennessee since we started dating in 2018. It just made sense for it to be the site for our bohemian micro wedding. Tennessee is like our second home and truthfully we could see ourselves living there someday.
I’m most looking forward to just being able to soak it all in! There is so much stress, money and time that goes into wedding planning (especially for the bride) and you just get to the point where you’re like, okay I’m ready for this! I’m ready to enjoy all the hard work I’ve done for the past 14 months and just enjoy every second of our big day!
There is no significance for the date. Given both of our jobs, the beginning of May was one of the best times of the year to get married for us!
Sometimes we enjoy staying in, and sometimes enjoy going out! If we’re staying in after a long day or week of work, we will make, what I like to call, a “nest” on the floor in our living room, eat comfort food and find a good movie to watch! Versus if we are going out we may go grab a good dinner, catch up with friends, go to an activity place, such as TopGolf (not sure if they have one of those in TN). We also are working on renovating our home, I (cheyenne) just graduated college and now we are getting married so we really are just busy all the time it seems!
