Rainy Sunday Wedding – Courtney and José

For our first wedding of the day, Courtney and Jose joined us with her parents for a rainy Sunday wedding. They dressed the chapel in black and champagne with our Halloween florals, and we are loving the look!! These two embraced the drizzly day, and we got some great photos! Congratulations, Courtney and Jose!!

From the Bride:

I was a long time customer at José’s place of employment. We had mutual friends that would talk together when we would go in to the restaurant, and we began getting to know each other, and the rest is history. The first date was dinner and a movie. Very comfortable, casual, and lots of fun and laughs. It suited us perfectly.

José proposed to me on an evening at his home when he had made me dinner, and we were spending some quality time together. It was a wonderful surprise, with just the two of us, which is very much true to our love and relationship style. I grew up visiting East Tennessee, having family in the surrounding area, and later went to University near Chattanooga. We, as a couple, love nature and feel very deeply connected to the beauty of the landscape in East Tennessee. Although we live in Illinois, this area always feels like home.

I’m most looking forward to finally being married to my best friend! We are private people, and are so looking forward to enjoying our big day with an intimate, stress free wedding, where we can focus on less of the big hustle and bustle and more on the two of us and our love. We LOVE fall! So we knew we wanted a date in October, and look forward to celebrating our day with all of the fall activities for many years to come!

For fun, we enjoy boating, floating down the river, exploring nature, jeeping, cooking, binge watching Netflix, lazy Sundays, trying new foods, shopping together. No matter what it is always full of laughter and joking.
