Mini Forest Wedding – Kelsey and Quentin

Kelsey and Quentin joined us for our first October mini forest wedding with their nearest and dearest. She looked spectacular in her low-back lace dress, and he had on a fun blue suit. Quentin kept us entertained with some crazy facial expressions while we were shooting, and these two steamed up the camera!! Congratulations, Kelsey and Quentin!!

From the Bride:

My cousin Amy’s husband, Jordan, is a firefighter. One night I went to dinner with Amy and she was telling me about this guy that was on Jordan’s shift. He sounded interesting but I didn’t put much thought into it. Then one day Amy I were making plans and I told her to tell Jordan to invite his friend along. Later that night I received a friend request from Quentin on Facebook. I accepted the request but didn’t hear from him. It took about a day and he messaged me. Amy and I planned to go to the firehouse the following Saturday and the rest is really history! We were both obsessed with each other from the beginning.

For the first date, Quentin was on shift at the firehouse. I went to the firehouse for dinner with my cousin Amy. We ate and then played corn hole. Quentin and I were on a team and he got to see that I would be a great date for a family cookout haha!

We had family pictures planned at the Christmas Tree Farm. Little did I know Quentin had purchased a ring a couple weeks before and messaged the photographer to let her know he was going to propose during our photos. It was so unexpected and exciting!

If anyone would ask me what I wanted for our wedding I would just say “I just want to find a small white chapel”. I was looking on Pinterest one day and found The Chapel in the Hollow! We picked a date a month out and started planning. I’m most looking forward to the intimacy of our small wedding and getting to marry my best friend.

For fun, we enjoy being with our 3 children. Canoeing/kayaking. Cookouts with friends and family. Rae Dunn.  Hunting.
