Woodsy Wintry Elopement – Brittany and Jerome

Brittany and Jerome – February 22, 2022

Woodsy Wintry Elopement

Brittany and Jerome were our final wedding of the day. They dressed the chapel in white fabric with our red berry winter florals. She brought the cutest little cake that matched perfectly. Her dress was all flowy elegance and had some lovely sleeves. He was extra handsome in his black suit, and was great at giving those serious vibes for photos. They were so sweet playing together for photos! Congratulations, Brittany and Jerome!
From the Bride:
We meet through playing Softball. We both love the game but always played in different leagues and tournaments as he lived in a different city until one weekend we ended up at the same tournament. We continued to see each other at different tournaments and league games that season but It wasn’t until a year later that he reached out to me and the rest is history. Our first “date” was after a softball tournament. He was playing, I just came to watch. It was a hot June weekend but poured down rain.
We have talked about marriage for the last two years, and after the birth of our son in March 2021 we got more serious about the topic and ultimately decided at the end of October 2021 that we wanted to Elope. One of the things I’ve heard from almost every person that’s been married and had a traditional wedding has said: “if I had to do it over again I would elope”. Although we love our families we felt that eloping was more our style and just wanted the intimacy of it just being the two of us.
We love the Pigeon Forge Area! It was our first vacation together and he had mentioned that he wanted to go back during the winter months. After joining multiple Facebook Elopement groups I actually found this venue in a comment section from another bride who was getting married there that same week. After looking at your website and all the amazing things included along with the affordability it was a done deal, I knew we had to get married there. I’m looking forward to just being in the moment and trying to take it all in. But ultimately getting to marry my best friend.
Softball is a big part of our lives when in season. We just bought our first home together in January 2022 and we are enjoying having something to make into our own.
