Sarah and Justin’s witchy wedding in the woods at Chapel in the Hollow was a mesmerizing affair, perfectly blending the enchantment of the forest with the allure of autumn in the Smokies. They styled the chapel in a stunning contrast of black and blush fabric, complemented by our moody florals and the warm glow of our candle package, setting a magically romantic scene for their special day.
Sarah captivated in a long-sleeved black lace dress, paired with cute chunky black shoes, radiating a vibrant energy that was infectious. Justin’s face lit up with a beaming smile as he watched her walk down the aisle, surrounded by the tranquil sounds of nature—a testament to their deep connection.
Adding a personal and artistic touch, they incorporated his grandparents’ exquisite glassware set in teals and gold, bringing a piece of family history into their celebration. They also had a custom wooden ring box engraved with their initials, symbolizing their crafted and personalized approach to life.
Both artsy and creative, Sarah and Justin infused their day with elements that reflected their personalities and passions. The ceremony was not just a union of their hearts but a celebration of their unique spirits.
As the evening drew to a close, we captured the last of their photos in the field, with the mountains providing a breathtaking backdrop. The setting sun painted the fall foliage in vibrant hues, framing this artsy couple in a canvas of natural beauty.
Congratulations, Sarah and Justin! May your life together be as filled with creativity, love, and enchantment as your magical witchy wedding day!
From the Bride
We met in 2nd grade elementary school. 23 years later (a decade after high school) we reconnected at a bowling alley the evening of Thanksgiving. My cousin invited Justin to go out with all of us cousins after dinner. I arrived a bit late after everybody was all set up. When I walked in, Justin was standing right there, he asked me if I remembered him and I said “of course I do” as we hugged. I remember his eyes were sparkling/twinkling as he looked at me. For our first date Justin got us tickets to a concert for Breaking Benjamin, Flyleaf and 3 Days Grace. When we walked up to get in line, he sang the song “Thriller” and did the dance. He danced circles around me.
Justin proposed to me the second we got up on Christmas morning 2010. He couldn’t wait a moment longer.
We decided to get married in East Tennessee because eloping to nature in the autumn. What’s more beautiful? On our wedding day we look forward to spending a magical day in the woods together. We decided to get married on this date because we love this time of year.
We enjoy hanging with our 4 cats and dog at home. When we go out, it’s for motorcycle rides, concerts, and driving to Michigan. Justin loves watching master chef shows and then making meals for us. We love art and music, creating art and taking care of our home.
