Winter Elopement – William and Stacy

William and Stacy joined us this morning for a super cute winter elopement. She got crafty and set up a gorgeous cake table — I’m loving the minty greens she used!! It was a little chilly, but the scarf she brought added the minty green flair into her ensemble.

From the Bride:

We met online the dating site of Plenty of Fish. For our first date, we went bowling and had drinks and appetizers and had a great time! We are both shy, so it took a little extra “oomfph” to get us to talk, but we had a wonderful time and got to know each other!

William proposed. We were in Savannah, Georgia over fall break. We went out to dinner and then headed back to the hotel to change and get ready to go walk the town. We were out on the hotel balcony just people watching and I went inside for a minute and when I came back out, he had wrapped his arms around me from behind and whispered that he loved me, turned me around and got down on one knee and proposed! There wasn’t hardly any light out on the balcony, just from the street lights, so I could hardly see it happen, but it was still so so special and I loved it!

William’s brother and wife, as well as their grandparents live outside of Knoxville, and we just love going up there to visit. We love to be in the mountains. It’s just a refreshing, peaceful place!

We are most excited about it just being the two of us. We had originally planned to do a small family and close friends only wedding, but we decided to be spontaneous and just elope!

For fun, we like to go out and enjoy dinner together having drinks, maybe going bowling or on a stroll through downtown.
