Wedding Photoshoot – Shelley and Dave

Wedding Photoshoot

Shelley and Dave – October 30, 2023

Love is in the air, and we had the pleasure of hosting Shelley and Dave for a wedding photoshoot at Chapel in the Hollow. They wanted to capture the magic of their special day with some fun, enchanting photos in their wedding attire. They transformed the chapel with a dreamy palette of peach and sand, complemented by our elegant blush and bashful florals.
Shelley looked radiant in her strapless dress, featuring a mid-length train and a stunning long veil adorned with rhinestones around the edge. She was the picture of bridal beauty. Dave, dashing as ever, wore a dark grey suit paired with a burgundy tie. Together, they made an incredibly stylish pair.  Shelley and Dave’s love story has been a decade in the making, but their journey as a couple began just a year ago. As they say, when you know, you know! And now, they’re about to celebrate their one-year anniversary in the next few days.  We wish Shelley and Dave a lifetime filled with love, laughter, and unforgettable moments. Happy almost-anniversary, you two!
From the Bride:
We knew of each other in high school but found each other on a dating app years later because that is how people “date” now..LoL..
The first date felt like being teenagers again..lol..I was so nervous but when we met in the parking lot of the restaurant Billy asked for a hug and I said of course! We ate Mexican food and drank margarita’s cause god knows I needed one to calm my nerves. Eventually i pushed the salsa and chips to the side to reach out and hold his hands and i felt completely calm after that. After our meal we went to a local park and walked, talked, and just enjoyed each other’s company. We have spent every day together since.
Billy and I ate at the restaurant we had our first date at. Then we went to hike at a mountain that is special to my heart. We hiked to the top and it was very cloudy and a cold that day. I had turned to billy for warmth, and he had a ring in his hand! He asked me if I would marry him, and I said yes! The mountain billy proposed to me at my fathers ashes lay. I lost my father in 2012 and we were very close. Billy never got to meet my dad, but it was like having my dad there when billy proposed. We chose the Smoky Mountains because Billy and I live in East TN. We are most looking forward to spending the day together just the two of us surrounded by nature. We chose the date because it is close to Halloween. We love to hike, go to the gym, festivals, play with the kittens at the animal shelter.
