Wedding Getaway – Madison and Nathan

Wedding Getaway

Madison and Nathan – November 21, 2024

Madison and Nathan’s wedding at Chapel in the Hollow was a picturesque getaway, woven with personal touches and family love. They transformed the chapel with hunter green fabric and florals handmade by Madison herself, which adorned the corners, adding a bespoke charm to their special day.
Madison looked absolutely stunning in a halter top dress with a lush tulle skirt, complemented by a dramatic cathedral veil. Her look was lovingly brought together with the help of her mom and sister. Nathan was dapper in a sleek black suit, embodying the elegance of the occasion.
An emotionally charged moment was when Madison’s brother walked her down the aisle, with a photo of their father placed in the pews, ensuring his spirit was close by during this significant moment. They also incorporated a meaningful “cord of three strands” ceremony, symbolizing their strength and unity.
Set against the crisp November backdrop of East Tennessee, their wedding was not just a celebration of love but a beautiful blend of tradition and heartfelt tributes.
Congratulations, Madison and Nathan! May your journey together be as rich and vibrant as your beautiful wedding day.
From the Bride:
We met through mutual friends. We didn’t really have a first date things kind of just took off from the start. Nathan proposed to me right after my birthday after he asked my mom for her blessing.
We knew we wanted to have a destination wedding and I have been coming to the mountains since I was a young child. Nathan has never been. So when I saw the Chapel in the Hollow, I absolutely fell in love and knew it was everything I could have imagined for our wedding getaway.
I’m most looking forward to finally becoming one. December 14th, 2024 will be our 5 year anniversary. We have been engaged for four years. Three weeks after we became engaged, I lost my father on September 3rd, 2020. It was extremely hard for me and still is to this day, especially planning a wedding. So, we decided to wait and when we decided to finally begin planning we found out we were expecting. Our daughter was born July 23rd, 2022. We pushed our date back further and decided we would get married around our 5 year mark.
The date we chose is actually my grandma’s birthday. We lost her December 26th, 2023. She meant everything to me, and she was like a grandma to Nathan, also. She loved him just as like he was one of her grandchildren.
We like to go fishing together and travel. We love to go on adventures with our little girl.
