Tennessee Weddings – Tara and Brian

Tara and Brian – June 13, 2020

Tennessee Weddings

We might be biased, but we think Tennessee weddings are the best–and we definitely get the most awesome couples!! Tara and Brian chose a gorgeous day for a wedding. This sweet bride rocked her Southern Fried Chics dress– look at those amazing arm muscles! These two were so laid back and fun! I got to hear some interesting stories about the groom, and their children were adorable–I learned all kinds of new things today from them!  Congratulations, Tara and Brian!!

From the Bride:

Brian and I knew each other years ago because we lived in the same neighborhood. One night quite a few years later we ran into each other while out one night. After a few drinks I told Brian to call me sometimes to go out. He responded with OK….Three years later here we are.

Our first date was a plate a cheese sticks, a few beers and a few glasses of wine on a Sunday afternoon. We have almost 9 acres with a creek behind our house. We both hunt deer so Brian came home after work one day and both of us took a walk to dump corn to feed the deer. On our way back to the house he walked through the creek first and stopped because he saw something in the water. He bent down to pick it and I said, “It’s probably a huge crawfish.” He turned around with a ring and asked, “will you marry me?” Obviously I said yes after a few moments. I then followed up with, “I think I feel sick.”

We decided on Tennessee because I wanted to elope and he didn’t. I started to look online at places, found your chapel and loved it. We are most looking forward to the significant moment with our children and officially becoming one. We chose our date because the number 13 is usually unlucky so I figured if we went against the odds it could work out in our favor.

For fun, We deer hunt together. We build fires at the house together. A couple of drinks and game of battleship or cards is a great night for us.
