Tennessee Vow Renewal

Sandra and Junior joined us today for their Tennessee vow renewal to celebrate their 30 year anniversary. They dressed the chapel in white fabric with our new sunflower florals. These two were super sweet. Junior may have shed a few tears during the ceremony. They brought their own vows to read to each other. Congratulations, Sandra and Junior! We hope you make it to another 30 years!

From the Bride:

We met in high school. We were in tenth grade, but we didn’t start dating until our senior year in 1991. After dating a few months, we got married, had two children, and now we have two grandchildren. For the first date, we went to the movies and shared some ice cream.

He proposed, and I said yes. We were so young that we were both excited and scared.

We chose East Tennessee for our vow renewal after visiting it last year and seeing how beautiful it was. We are celebrating our 30 year anniversary and wanted to go back so we thought it would be great to renew our vows on the exact date we got married.

We are most looking forward to the experience and memories of having an actual wedding that we missed out on the first time and getting beautiful pictures.

We love to just be together. We love spending time with our family and two beautiful grandchildren. We love taking our 1925 Ford Runabout that my father built out for long drives. It really does not matter what we are doing if it’s working in the yard or hanging out in the house as long as we are together we enjoy each other.
