Tennessee Micro Wedding – Paige and Holden

Paige and Holden – May 22, 2021

Tennessee Micro Wedding

Paige and Holden brought their families and friends to us on May 22, 2021 to celebrate their Tennessee micro wedding. They had a HUGE bridal party, but this was one of the best behaved big groups we’ve had on property. Holden’s reaction during the first look was priceless, and we can’t blame him — she looked amazing. They dressed the chapel with white fabric and our white florals, but they brought some of the burnt orange flowers they used in their bouquets to add in to make them match. Her mom was a tiny tornado of efficiency getting everything set up and in place. Paige and Holden, we are so glad you chose to celebrate with us!! Congratulations!

From the Bride:

We met in college during our final semester. We went to a mutual friend’s party and ended up finding out that we were in the same online class. Holden’s excuse to get my number was so we could study together. We never studied together. Our first date was very simple, we went to a local breakfast restaurant in Bowling Green, Ohio.

Holden proposed. Holden came home one day and said he wanted to take me on a surprise date and to get ready. We left later in the evening and showed up to the Radisson Hotel in Kentucky which has a restaurant on the top that rotates for a 360 view of the city. It was beautiful and the food was amazing. Holden and I started talking about our future and he said, “what if I was to propose right now?” and he started getting on one knee, but I thought it was a joke so I told him to stand up so he didn’t make a scene.. Until he pulled out the ring! But as he is proposing he has one knee on the rotating floor and the other on the stationary part so it was funny watching him kind of rotate as he was professing his love. It was a very sweet moment and I was definitely surprised!

We were looking for a more intimate location that was smaller since COVID, but it turns out having a small wedding is ideal and a lot more realistic with our budget. We also love the area so we thought it was perfect, and especially since the venue is run by a couple, we thought it was even more perfect because we have a more personal connection with the venue.

We are most looking forward to just getting to spend the day celebrating our love and our family coming together as one.

We are big movie watchers, we love staying in a watching movies and eating goodies, but we also love to hike and be outdoors with our dog exploring new parks and trails.
