Stress Free Elopement

Melanie and Sean joined us September 7th for a stress free elopement here in the Smoky Mountains. They dressed the chapel in white fabric with our white florals, and she brought a matching bouquet. It was hot and muggy from the storms, but that didn’t dim their smiles! Congratulations, Sean and Melanie!

From the Bride:

Sean and I both were recently divorced. I never wanted to date by any kind of data app. One night I said lets try this. Sean was my first one to swipe left on, (this is a running joke for us 🙂 ) late on Sunday night. The next morning, I woke up and saw that he had sent just a small smiley face. I was super excited and responded at 5am! Never thinking twice of the time. I got a response right back, and with butterflies in my stomach, I knew that I had finally sound my soulmate. I closed my account down and never looked back.

It was the best first date I have ever had. We are not flashy, materialistic, try to impress others kind of people. When we both agreed that we would pick up dinner and hang out at home, it was the best living room dinner date I have ever had.

We actually had fully planned our wedding in Antigua, on the beach, in October of 2021. However, it never felt right. Again we are simple and just us. We booth thought about it and decided the Smokey mountain was it for us. After booking our wedding with the Chapel, Sean asked me if I remember making our Bucket List Travel list. Of course I do, he then showed me that the first one we both wanted was the Smokey Mountains so this verified it even more for us.

I’m most looking forward to seeing Sean, seeing me for the first time, and finally marrying my soulmate.

We love to hang out with our blended family. Sean has two boys that I adore, and I have a daughter that is just as rough and tough as they are. Family game nights and Movie nights are big in our family. When it is just Sean and I and kids are gone, We battle between enjoying each other and staying home or finding the next casino to visit.
