Spring Weekend Wedding – Sarah and Jared

Spring Weekend Wedding

Sarah and Jared – May 25, 2024

Sarah and Jared’s spring weekend wedding at Chapel in the Hollow was nothing short of magical, perfectly timed as the morning rain cleared up just before their special moment. They created a charming atmosphere by dressing the chapel in peach and lavender fabrics, complemented beautifully by our wildflower florals and the gentle glow of candles.
Sarah looked effortlessly elegant in a simple sleeveless dress, paired with classy white shoes adorned with ribbon ties, capturing the essence of springtime grace. Both Sarah and Jared chose white gold rings to symbolize their union; her bands sparkled with tiny diamonds, while her engagement ring featured a stunning princess cut diamond.
The day was filled with family love, as Sarah’s mom and sister helped her prepare for the walk down the aisle, which she made alongside her dad and son, creating a heartfelt moment of unity.
Adding to the festivities, they brought a “Just Married” sign for photos, and in a delightful personal touch, Sarah’s mom, known for her Appalachian cooking classes in the area, lovingly created their wedding cake, adding a taste of local tradition to their celebration.
Congratulations, Sarah and Jared! May your life together be as joyous and love-filled as your beautiful wedding day.
From the Bride:
We met on the dating app Bumble. I am from KY, and he is from TN. My parents own a business here in TN and we matched on the app one weekend while I was in town. We talked for a week via phone before meeting in person. 3 months later, I moved down here, and we have been inseparable since.
The first date was amazing! He picked me up at my parent’s store and showed me around Seymour, where he is from, then took me to Market Square. We had a day of laughing, enjoying each other’s company and not wanting to leave each other. He was the perfect gentleman.
Jared proposed. He took me back to Market Square (where we went on our first date) and proposed. We chose East Tennessee for our spring weekend wedding because we live here and love the mountains. We are most looking forward to being able to finally call each other husband and wife. We have dreamed of this day together for a long time.
For fun, we love to watch TV together, go on walks with our dogs, and eat Mexican food!
