Spring Micro Wedding in the Woods – Madison and Alan

Spring Micro Wedding in the Woods

Madison and Alan – April 7, 2024

In the heart of a blossoming forest, Madison and Alan celebrated their love with an intimate spring micro wedding in the woods at Chapel in the Hollow. They transformed the chapel into a magical setting with lavender and purple fabric, beautifully complemented by our soft lavender florals, creating a serene and romantic atmosphere for their special day.
Madison added her personal touch with extra florals to adorn the pews and brought a gorgeous cake that perfectly matched the day’s theme. She looked stunning in an ivory dress featuring a long train, embodying bridal elegance and grace. Alan, ever so dapper, complemented her in a tasteful tan suit, together painting a picture of timeless love and style.
Crafting the bouquets for herself and her bridesmaids out of sola wood florals, Madison infused the celebration with creativity and a personal flair. Her mom and sister were by her side, helping her prepare for the moment she would step into her new life, a time of joy and anticipation.
The day was filled with heartfelt moments, from Madison and Alan’s first look and private vow reading, a tender exchange that underscored their deep connection, to the touching first look with her dad, full of emotion and love.
Walking down the aisle, escorted by her father, Madison was met with the loving gaze of Alan and the support of their five children, who played a special part in the ceremony, symbolizing the blending of their lives and the strength of their family bond.
Their bridal party and friends contributed to the day by helping set up decor, making the celebration a true community effort filled with love and support from those closest to them.
Madison and Alan’s wedding was not just a union of two hearts but a celebration of family, friendship, and the beginning of a beautiful new chapter in their lives. As they embark on this journey together, we wish them endless happiness, love, and joy.
Congratulations, Madison and Alan! May your lives together be as beautiful and filled with love as your spring wedding day.
From the Bride:
We met through mutual friends one day when I went over to his house to hangout with them. My best friend at the time was dating a guy that was Alan’s best friend. For our first date, we went to Andretti Indoor Karting and Games, played a round of bowling, and then finished the night by having dinner at Kevin Rathburn Steakhouse.
Alan proposed. It wasn’t big and elaborate, as he knows I don’t like to be the center of attention. We had known we wanted to get married and had been talking about getting engaged. We were going to dinner one night and just decided to go to Kay’s and look at rings.. well long story short he ended up buying one, asked my dad the next day if he could marry me, and the rest is history.
Our original plan was going to be to get married out of the country, just the two of us, during my graduation trip. But the more we thought about it, the more we decided we wanted not only our kids to be able to be with us during this special time, but our close friends and family as well. We had already booked a family vacation to be in Tennessee this week, and through TikTok research, I stumbled upon The Chapel in The Hollow and we knew this was the place for us.
We are most looking forward to finally becoming a whole. We’ve been waiting on this day for so long and can’t wait to be surrounded by the people who mean the most to us. For fun, we love to go to concerts and travel.
