Simple Stress Free Elopement – Bridget and Bre

Simple Stress Free Elopement

Bre and Bridget joined us for a simple, stress free elopement with their two puppers. They dressed the chapel in white and champagne with our white florals. Bre made two bouquets for them to coordinate. They did a first look before their ceremony, and they were both SO excited to see each other. Then, there were a few tears shed during the ring exchange. These two were just the sweetest! Congratulations, Bre and Bridget!
From the Brides:
Bridget and I met through a dating app about 2 1/2 years ago. She lived in Jackson at the time and I was living in Nashville. We spoke on the phone and messaged each other regularly. We took turns driving to see each other every other weekend for about a year and then Bridget sold her house, moved to Nashville, and we moved in together!
I drove to Jackson to meet Bridget in person for the first time about 6 weeks after meeting online. I got to her house and went to use the restroom only to hear her yell that she was out of toilet paper, LOL but left a roll of paper towels on the vanity. I also discovered that she actually had 4 cats and not just 1 like she’d told me.(crazy cat lady and it was contagious!), We went to Rockin’ Dough and had pizza, beer and a wonderful time!
Bridget proposed to me while we were on a beach vacation in Florida. It was the last night of our vacation so we decided to pick up food and eat it back at our condo. After dinner we decided to have a drink on the patio and Bridget pulled out a box and opened it. The first thing out of my mouth was, “What is that?” She laughed and said so many sweet things to me. It really couldn’t have been more perfect!
I absolutely LOVE East Tennessee! We agreed that we wanted to elope, which made me think of Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge, but almost all of the chapels there that I saw were actual log cabins and that’s just not our style. So I started doing some Google searching and found your website that looks absolutely perfect!
We are most looking forward to the fact that it’s going to be a day about just us! Neither of us are people that like to be the center of attention or in front of a big group of people so the fact that it will be just the 2 of us is something we’re both really looking forward to! And not having the stress of worrying about other people enjoying themselves in just icing on the cake. There really isn’t any significance to the date we chose other than the fact that we thought a winter wedding in the mountains sounded great!
Bridget loves to cook and I love to eat her cooking. She really is a phenomenal cook! We enjoy hanging out at home with our furry family watching good series or documentary. We are pretty low key with most things we do. For dates nights we typically like have a delicious meal someplace while exploring Nashville so Bridget can experience her new city and I can be her tour guide! Really anything we do together is always fun!
