Simple Micro Wedding – Amanda and Andy

Amanda and Andy – May 7, 2022

Simple Micro Wedding

Amanda and Andy got a gorgeously moody morning for their simple micro wedding. They dressed the chapel in white fabric with white florals, and her beaded dress was amazing. He looked extra dapper in his black suit. We were able to get some great misty mountain photos thanks to the drizzly day. Congratulations, Andy and Amanda!
From the Bride:
We met in the summer of 2015 at a disc golf course. My boyfriend (at the time) and I joined up with Andy and his friends to finish our round of golf. Over the next two years we became good friends as we found it very easy to talk to one another and we had a lot in common. After my daughter, Kylee, was born her dad and I decided to go our separate ways. On May 4th, 2018 we officially started dating.
On our first date we went to a local Mexican restaurant and then afterwords he took me to the beach where we took a walk on the boardwalk and talked. Andy proposed to me. It was our three year anniversary (May 4th, 2021) and he took me to a really nice restaurant. When we got back home he pulled out a ring and asked me to marry him. It was already known between the two of us that we would be getting married but, it was official now.
We knew we wanted an outside wedding and we knew we wanted to keep it small and simple. I searched around for a beach wedding initially because we live so close to the beach (literally minutes) but, nothing really stood out to what I was envisioning. I then mentioned to Andy that my sister got married fifteen years ago in Gatlinburg, TN and it was simple and nice. We have been wanting to visit Tennessee again so, we decided to kill two birds with one stone. I began searching and I came across The Chapel in the Hollow and it was perfect all the way around and it fit our budget. I showed it to Andy and he agreed. We wanted a date that would be easy to remember. Since our anniversary is on May 4th we were going to set the date for that day. However, to ensure our family would be able to come we decided on a weekend date. My favorite number is 7 so, it just fit that our wedding day be May 7th.
One of the many things Andy and I have in common is neither one of us like attention on ourselves. So, to be honest, we are both looking forward to the ceremony being over with (lol). We love playing disc golf together and we try to get out to play whenever we can. We enjoy going to the beach, fishing, trying new restaurants (we love food) and going to Busch Gardens-Williamsburg. We like to be active and take my daughter along with us whenever/wherever we can. We love to give her life experiences.
