Rustic Country Wedding Chapel – Carolyn and Mike

Carolyn and Mike – October 9, 2020

Rustic Country Wedding Chapel

Carolyn and Mike joined us for an intimate commitment ceremony at our little rustic country wedding chapel to celebrate their lives together. They had originally planned this for March, but things changed, and they now get to enjoy the Smokies in the fall! Carolyn incorporated pictures of her parents and grandparents from their weddings as part of the aisle for the ceremony which was a cute touch. They are both outdoorsy, laid back, and full of fun. Congratulations, Carolyn and Mike!!

From the Bride:

“It all started with a beer” and boots!

He would come into the bar I worked at every once in a while, the first thing he ever said to me was “nice boots” (cowboy boots aren’t too common in suburbs of Chicago) so when I saw he wasn’t joking and was wearing some himself it was all over for me lol! For the first date, we took a walk by the river and went to get dinner followed by drinks.

He proposed. As a man of few words, he just pulled out the ring and asked. We decided on East Tennessee because I saw pictures of a wedding at the chapel online and knew that if we ever got married it HAD to be there!!For fun, we enjoy hanging with our kids, movie night on the couch, fishing when can.
