Romantic Mini Wedding – Sedona and Matt

Romantic Mini Wedding – Sedona and Matt

February 14, 2025 – Sedona and Matt

Sedona and Matt’s romantic mini wedding at Chapel in the Hollow was an enchanting celebration, perfectly timed for Valentine’s Day. They transformed the chapel with cream fabric and a stunning arrangement of red and pink florals, all set against the backdrop of our winter tree package featuring candles, mini trees, and lanterns.
Sedona was picture-perfect, adding just a touch of mascara upon arrival, with both her mom and Matt’s accompanying her, filling the day with family warmth. She brought along charming wedding details that included silver flats, delicately handwritten vows, and white gold rings with a modern vintage flair. Her mid-length veil, beautifully embroidered with vibrant reds, teals, and greens, added a pop of color that complemented the day’s theme.
Both mothers added to the colorful day: her mom in a graceful purple dress and his mom in traditional Korean attire, striking in bold blues and golds. The ceremony was filled with personal touches, including her dad walking her down the aisle to “Make Up Kisses” by John Powell. Matt’s joy was palpable as he saw Sedona approaching.
They exchanged heartfelt vows, crafted personally to express their unique love. Following the ceremony, the family gathered for photos before we took Sedona and Matt around the property for more intimate shots amidst the Smoky Mountains’ serene beauty. This chilly February day was warmed by their love and the joyous celebration of their families.
Congratulations, Sedona and Matt! Your wedding was a beautiful testament to love and family, set against the breathtaking backdrop of East Tennessee’s natural splendor. Here’s to a lifetime of happiness and Valentine’s Days filled with love!
From the Bride
We met on a dating app. We ate at a sushi restaurant where we let the waiter take pick all our food for us! Then we went to a bar called The Bar where we shared our first kiss while watching people sing karaoke.
Matthew proposed last Fourth of July in the Smoky Mountains National Park. We had a little picnic and he got on one knee. We decided to get married here because our first vacation together was in East Tennessee and a year later we got engaged in the Smokies. On our wedding day we look forward to celebrating with my parents and Matthew’s mom. We started officially dating on St. Patrick’s Day ; engaged on Fourth of July ; we wanted to get married on another minor holiday, and what better holiday to get married than Valentine’s Day.
We love going to the movies and bonding over movies we watch. We each have our own separate hobbies and ways to kill time, but we can almost always do them while sitting on the couch together. Video games, reading books, hand embroidery. We love being outside, swimming, and cooking homemade pasta together.
