Purple Inspired Wedding

Stefanie and Samuel joined us for their purple inspired wedding. They were the first couple to use lilac and purple for the drapery, and it paired beautifully with our cream and white florals. She wore his mother’s wedding dress with a super cute jean jacket to ward off the chill. We still had a bit of snow for the background. He said that he knew she was the one when he saw that bootie, lol. Congratulations, Samuel and Stefanie!!

From the Bride:

We met at work. I was hired on as the cleaning lady and Sam already worked there. He likes to say he tried to avoid me but he always found a way to be where I was at the end of his shift and we would spend the last but of his shift just talking and killing time. We actually didn’t have a first date until after we were already living together. Sam’s parents crashed our first date! His dad asked me if I was crazy because I let Sam move in with me and my boys before we actually dated. (We had worked together for months before he moved in.)

Sam proposed. He had hinted a month prior that he was going to propose so I tried too hard to figure out the day he was going to propose and actually figured it out on accident. He was determined to surprise me with the proposal though. He spent the day before ring shopping with his mom. He proposed to me right after midnight, with a ring pop, and of course I said yes. I was totally surprised by his timing. After saying yes to the ring pop he slipped the real ring on my finger. We chose Tennessee because his parents got married in Gatlinburg. We are most looking forward to being surrounded by the people who love us most. We chose 3/13 because my favorite number is 3 and Sam’s is 13. He proposed on 3/13/21.
