Outdoor Micro Wedding – Ashley and James

Outdoor Micro Wedding

Ashley and James joined us today for a cute outdoor micro wedding. They dressed the chapel in blush fabric with blush and marsala florals, and she looked extra amazing in her Maggie Sottero dress. He was all smiles and seemed super excited to see her all dolled up. Her sweet grandfather walked her down the aisle, and he was such a cutie!! Congratulations, Ashley and James!!
From the Bride:
Almost nine years ago, I started working for an electrical distributor. One coworker always had my back and helped me out when I needed it. I tried my best to return the favor. After working together 5 years, we knew what the other was thinking and would blurt out the same thing at the same time. We made a great team working together.
I don’t think we had an official first date. We had work lunch together as friends then we started seeing more of each other after work. One night I couldn’t wait for him to make a move so I kissed him.
Last summer we spent a week in Pigeon Forge. The last night of our vacation we went to The Island. I was giving James a hard time about riding the Great Smoky Mountain Wheel because he is terrified of heights. He mustered up the courage to take me on the Wheel. As we were going up, he got down on one knee and proposed. Of course, I said yes.
After hiking several trails at the Great Smoky Mountains and seeing several breathtaking waterfalls, we fell in love with the natural beauty. The mountains remind us of our home state, West Virginia. So this feels like our home away from home.
We’re looking forward to getting all dressed up for our immediate family and finally becoming husband and wife.
We did have a reason for the date we chose. 7/8/21 backwards is the two numbers of our favorite football players.
We enjoy walking the trail by our house, hiking in the mountains, and riding on the Harley through town. We also enjoy spending time with family at the farm or wherever and cuddling with our 2 dogs and cat.
