Stephanie and Brock – February 23, 2023
Outdoor February Wedding
Stephanie and Brock joined us for an outdoor February wedding. They dressed the chapel in white with our blue and yellow florals. She brought some extra flowers to add in to make them pop with her colors. Her daughters all helped her get ready, and she looked gorgeous. Brock was nervous but so excited, and teared up a bit when he saw her. Congratulations, Brock and Stephanie!!
From the Bride:
Brock and I met at the beginning of 2014. His coworker introduced us. It was love at first sight, and although it took us nine years to get here, we always knew each of us was “the one”. Our first date was at a local Mexican restaurant, Villa Fiesta. We had never met in person, so for me, I was extremely nervous. Brock was as calm as a cucumber, per his usual, haha. From the moment we got out of our vehicles, any nerves were gone. We smiled smiles that are still as loving and sincere as that night, and have held onto those same butterflies. We are truly blessed!
Brock proposed to me on what was supposed to be an uneventful overnight trip. We had gone to take my vehicle to Birmingham, and Brock’s friend had suggested us staying and making a nice trip out of it instead of just coming straight back. Brock arranged for us to stay somewhere neither of us had ever stayed, Ross Bridge, which was probably the nicest place I’ve ever stayed at. As soon as we checked in, Brock proposed to me in our room! I literally had no idea that he planned on proposing that night, but it was just the greatest, most amazing night for us! I am looking forward to starting our life together, and being able to call Brock my husband! I know Brock is equally ready for the same. Brock and I started coming to the mountains back in 2021. I love fall, and had wanted to make the trip for a long, long time. We both loved it so much that when we got engaged, we both knew the mountains were where we wanted to have our wedding. February is our anniversary month, so we thought 2/23 would be perfect!
For fun, Brock and I love to travel, and go to our favorite food places. We also love to just ride around, sightsee, and spend time together.
