Alli and Zach – October 8, 2022
Outdoor Fall Wedding
Alli and Zach joined us for an outdoor fall wedding ceremony filled with beautiful rust colored accents. They dressed the chapel in champagne fabric with our bohemian florals. She made bouquets to coordinate. She looked stunning in her dress. Congratulations, Zach and Alli!
From the Bride:
We both swiped right! Well…. Zach did first! I however did not have my location on tinder turned as high as he did! 101 miles away was the man of my dreams. I remember my heart skipping a beat when I saw his picture come across my screen. He immediately messaged me a cheesy pickup line and the rest is history…and to think I ALMOST didn’t message him back after he sent me a one word answer! LOL! For our first date we had planned on him coming to my hometown for the weekend…but we were both impatient and we both took off work a day early and met for lunch at Olive Garden.
His proposal was perfect! Poor guy was SOOO nervous! We were on vacation in the smokies with my family. We had scheduled family pictures with a local photographer on Foothills Parkway. The photographer was asking us a few weird questions…She asked Zach “what he adored about me most?” During his answer he got down on one knee and asked me to marry him and I of course said yes! Our whole family and Zach’s three kids got to be apart of our special moment! We chose East Tennessee because it is our “happy place”. We spent our first anniversary here, we got engaged here in June 2021 and now we are getting married here!
I am excited to see all the planning and details come to life that we have worked on over the last year and a half. My last name is Long and the grooms is Horn so we have incorporated little touches of western as well as longhorns into the wedding decor. My favorite detail is my “something blue” . Zachs 3 children all have a shade of blue birthstone so i have included that in a ring as my “something blue” . Most of all I am looking forward to being able to spend our day with those who love and support us the most!
We love to spend time as a family with our children, watching and supporting all their activities together. We have an amazing group of friends and love to go country concerts, fishing and traveling.
