Lindsy and Logan – October 8, 2021
October Wedding
Lindsy and Logan joined us for a not so rainy October wedding. They dressed the chapel in white and burgundy fabric with our sunflower florals, and she brought a lovely coordinating bouquet. These two were adorable together! Congratulations, Lindsy and Logan!!
From the Bride:
We met at church, we actually had mutual friends for years but had never hung out or really even talked to each other. Down the road a few years later one of our friends said that we should hang out and that he thought we would get along really well. We hung out a few times and became really close friends. After a few weeks Logan told me that he had feelings for me, but I said that I just wanted to be friends. A little more time went on and I realized that I started to have feelings for him too.
Logan proposed, it was actually at the top of the Gatlinburg Space Needle at night. We were on a mini vacation to Gatlinburg in January of 2021. He knew that I had always wanted someone to take pictures of when we got engaged, so he told me that he wanted to go up in the Space Needle and get a picture of us. So we got up there and he walked away to find someone to take our picture. As we are getting our picture taken, he gets down on one knee and asks me to marry him. Little did I know that the older lady taking our pictures knew his plan, and she actually used to take pictures for Disney, so Logan got pretty lucky! We spent the next day driving around in the mountains, both feeling about as happy as you can get.
We absolutely love East Tennessee. It is one of our favorite places to go for a getaway. We also thought it would be great to get married around the same area we got engaged and have had so much fun together!
We are both so excited to be married. We have been together for over 4 years now, and I think we have both known for a long time that we were each others forever. We are so excited to start this new part of our lives together.
For fun we usually go out to dinner and rewatch the same 5 shows on Netflix that we always watch. We also love to just sit outside and spend time with out doggo Ruger.
