Love, laughter, and lavender blooms filled the air as we celebrated the beautiful October micro wedding of Paris and Brody at Chapel in the Hollow. It was an enchanting day that perfectly blended nature’s beauty with the warmth of their love.

The chapel was adorned in crisp white fabric, a canvas of pure elegance, and it was graced with our stunning lavender florals, flickering candles, enchanting lanterns, and lush lavender wreaths. The ambiance was nothing short of magical. Paris looked radiant in a dress with delicate off-the-shoulder sleeves, exuding an air of timeless charm. Brody was every bit the dashing groom in his suit, complete with a stylish green tie.

As Paris made her way down the aisle, escorted by her father, there was an undeniable sense of love and anticipation in the air. Their precious baby, River, was an absolute bundle of joy, adding an extra layer of sweetness to their special day. It was a heartwarming reminder of the love they’ve already created as a family.

From the Bride:

We met through mutual friends in 2018. As we got to know each other better, Brody already had plans to move back to California, where he was originally from, to pursue a career change. We continued dating despite knowing “long distance” was in our future. Of our 4 years together, We spent the first 8 months living over 2,000 miles apart. Despite many surprise and planned trips back and forth, it didn’t take long before we reunited in Florence, Al, where we currently live with our newborn son, River. Our first date was in 2019 at a wine bar in Florence, The Carriage. We originally went with a group of friends but hit it off immediately and by the end of the night knew there would be many more dates to come.

Brody proposed in May 2022 while we sat in our home, listening to music, and working on a puzzle. As simple as it sounds, we were talking about our future lives together and the moment was perfect. Brody knew I wanted an intimate proposal and didn’t want a lot of people around, so the moment couldn’t have been better. We decided on an East Tennessee wedding because, we knew we wanted a small, intimate experience with just our immediate family, and did not want an extravagant wedding that would overshadow the meaning of our day. After a friend shared Chapel in the Hollow with us, we knew we could get an intimate elopement-style wedding while getting in touch with nature at the same time.

“I am looking forward to walking down the aisle and seeing Brody at the chapel waiting for me. Brody says “At the end of the day, and all the fun and chaos of the day has passed, getting to soak in that we are now a family.” There is not a significance to the actual wedding date, but October is the month we started dating officially, and it is also the start to our favorite time of the year. We love to travel and go on adventures and know that October is a great time to do all those things.

We love staying active, and being outdoors. From music festivals to hiking the Colorado mountains, we are up for any adventure together.
