In the cozy embrace of Chapel in the Hollow, Alisha and Billy chose to celebrate their love in a magical October evening elopement. The chapel was beautifully adorned with rich burgundy fabric and our enchanting rose florals, perfectly complemented by the warm, inviting glow of our lantern and candle package.
Alisha looked absolutely breathtaking in her cold shoulder dress with a unique fluffy train and a low back, exuding elegance and grace. Meanwhile, Billy was the epitome of charm in his grey slacks, white dress shirt, and grey vest. Their love story is nothing short of a fairy tale. They went to high school together but never dated. They went their separate ways for 20 years before finding each other. Since that moment, they haven’t spent a day apart, proving that true love knows no distance or time.
Nature decided to bless their day with a light rain before the wedding, but nothing could dampen their spirits. In fact, it added a touch of magic, creating a beautiful soft lighting, and provided the perfect backdrop for their heartfelt vows and countless kisses. Congratulations to Alisha and Billy on this beautiful new chapter in their love story. May the years ahead be filled with endless joy and love!
From the Bride:
We knew of each other in high school but found each other on a dating app years later, because that is how people “date” now..LoL! The first date felt like being teenagers again..lol..I was so nervous but when we met in the parking lot of the restaurant Billy asked for a hug and I said of course! We ate Mexican food and drank margarita’s cause god knows I needed one to calm my nerves. Eventually i pushed the salsa and chips to the side to reach out and hold his hands and I felt completely calm after that. After our meal we went to a local park and walked, talked, and just enjoyed each other’s company. We have spent every day together since.
For the proposal, Billy and I ate at the restaurant we had our first date at. Then we went to hike at a mountain that is special to my heart. We hiked to the top and it was very cloudy and a cold that day. I had turned to Billy for warmth, and he had a ring in his hand! He asked me if I would marry him, and I said yes! The mountain Billy proposed to me on was where my fathers ashes lay. I lost my father in 2012 and we were very close. Billy never got to meet my dad, but it was like having my dad there when Billy proposed.
Billy and I live in East Tennessee, so we decided on a close to home elopement. I am looking forward to spending the day together just the two of us surrounded by nature. We love to hike, go to the gym, go to festivals, and play with the kittens at the animal shelter.
