October Elopement in the Smokies – Jessica and Alston
October Elopement in the Smokies
Jessica and Alston – October 24, 2024
Jessica and Alston’s October elopement in the Smokies was a picturesque celebration of love amidst the autumn splendor at Chapel in the Hollow. They adorned the chapel with gold and textured rust fabric, beautifully complemented by our bohemian florals and a charming simple pumpkin package, creating a warm, inviting atmosphere for their intimate morning ceremony.
Jessica was radiant in a gauzy dress with bell sleeves, crowned with a stunning flower crown in vibrant fall colors, perfectly capturing the essence of the season. Her mom played a special role in helping her prepare for the day, adding to the heartfelt moments. Before the ceremony, Jessica shared a touching first look with her sons, a sweet exchange filled with smiles and anticipation.
Alston looked dapper in green pants paired with a white shirt, brown suspenders, and a succulent patterned tie, his boutonniere adding a pop of nature-inspired style. Jessica’s dad had the honor of walking her down the aisle, a moment filled with emotion and beauty, as her two sons proudly stood up with them, celebrating the union of their family.
After the ceremony, the family gathered on the chapel steps for some memorable photos, capturing the joy and love of the occasion. We then took Jessica and Alston around the property, utilizing our scenic photo ops to create stunning visuals of their elopement, with the Smoky Mountains providing a breathtaking backdrop.
Congratulations, Jessica and Alston! Your elopement was not just a union of hearts but a beautiful celebration of family and the enchanting autumn season. May your life together be filled with as much love and beauty as your special day!
From the Bride
We met thru our families at church. They tried for 3 years to get us to go out. He’s younger so I thought he was weird. On our first date we went to the movies. We were suppose to go to a festival and it got rained out. I was so happy bc I had been single for 8 years lol but my dad said that’s a good boy you can just be friends. The more I talked to him the more I fell.
He proposed to me at Epcot. It couldn’t have been more perfect. At my favorite park during Halloween with all the decore it was beautiful. We were going to do a small but more family wedding and Alston’s mom ended up needing a heart transplant and she is still in the hospital. We decided to just elope in East Tennessee with the kids and when she is better we will just have a party. We’ve both had bigger first weddings and we wanted this more intimate.
On our wedding day we are most looking forward to the beauty of the mountains and just the intimate atmosphere making it personal. We decided on this date because we both love October. We like to travel. Try new foods. Anything new.
