November Morning Wedding – Heather and Dillan

Heather and Dillan – November 4, 2022

November Morning Wedding

Heather and Dillan joined us for a November morning wedding with beautiful lighting and lovely falling leaves. They dressed the chapel in white and sand fabric with our bohemian florals. She looked angelic silhouetted by all that golden light, and he burst into tears at the sight of her walking down the aisle. Congratulations, Heather and Dillan!
From the Bride:
Dillan and I have worked together for years. After my divorce with my young son, Holden, Dillan took a chance and reached out to me on a level outside of work. We clicked right away. My son took to him almost immediately at the age of 2 and Dillan has been his best friend ever since. Dillan is an outdoorsman. From hunting to fishing to boating, he loves to be outside. He took me out on the river which I had never really experienced. I loved how calm and relaxed he was, he even let me drive the boat for a minute but I accidentally pushed him into the woods with the tiller handle as I was so unfamiliar with running boat, thankfully he laughed! His calm demeanor and easy-going personality is what hooked me from the beginning.
We like to do things a big backwards (by accident). We looked at wedding rings and discussed marriage early June. In July we discovered I was pregnant! What a surprise! We took some time to discuss what would be best and decided to marry before our little girl arrives in March. We wanted a small, cozy ceremony with family. We both have always loved the area and nature, so we decided on an East Tennessee wedding.
We are looking forward to spending time with our family celebrating us becoming one, getting away from the bustle of life to take some time for ourselves. We spend as much time in the outdoors as possible. We moved to a rural town in Alabama, recently purchased 60 acres of land and plan to build our dreams on that land. We plan to explore, hunt, fish, ride four wheelers and maybe eventually start a farm. We love to be together as much as possible living a simple, relaxed life.
