New Year’s Eve Micro Wedding – Briana and Josh

New Year’s Eve Micro Wedding

Briana and Josh – December 31, 2023

Celebrating Briana and Josh’s New Year’s Eve micro wedding at Chapel in the Hollow, a picturesque union to ring in the new year. They chose a charming theme, dressing the chapel in white fabric and adorning it with our blueberry winter florals, setting a scene of wintry elegance.
Briana was the epitome of grace in her tea-length white dress, accented with fluttery half sleeves. Her look was playfully completed with a big bow in her hair, adding a touch of whimsy. Her self-crafted elegant bouquet, in shades of white, was not just a floral arrangement but a showcase of her creativity and personal touch. Josh’s choice of an all-black ensemble exuded sophistication and complemented the day’s theme perfectly.
In a thoughtful gesture to their guests, they provided hot hands to keep everyone warm, creating a cozy atmosphere. The unique boot bottle openers as favors were a fun and memorable touch to their celebration.  Together, hand in hand, Briana and Josh walked down the aisle to the chapel steps, where her best friend awaited to officiate their special ceremony. This intimate moment, surrounded by loved ones, was a beautiful testament to their bond.
Their New Year’s Eve wedding was not just a celebration of their love, but a joyous and heartwarming start to a new beginning.

From the Bride and Groom:

Josh and Briana met while training to be Air Force medics together in San Antonio, Texas. After a strong friendship, they fell in love fast in Virginia. Although they were smitten, Josh returned to Ohio and Briana returned to New Jersey after training. Half a year later, they reconnected at a wedding in West Virginia. It was then that they knew their paths crossed again for a reason and they’ve been inseparable ever since. Josh and Briana made it official on the beach in Briana’s home town of Wildwood, New Jersey on New Years Eve, 2020. It was at sunrise on the morning of Joshua’s birthday, just the two of them. They celebrated afterwards surrounded by family and friends. Briana couldn’t have asked for a more perfect proposal. Briana moved to Ohio after a year of long distance, where they both live now. Getting married on New Years Eve, which is their anniversary & Briana’s birthday, is nothing short of pure magic.

They never had a first date! Although, Josh still remembers the first time he saw Briana “out of uniform” and often recalls exactly what she was wearing, and how he felt. They were celebrating passing their NREMT, and had no idea the beautiful life they would make together. Their relationship hasn’t been the most traditional or conventional, but it is uniquely theirs and they love that!

They decided to have a micro-wedding here in Tennessee because it is the location of their first vacation together! Their  love has traveled far, and they can’t wait to see where it takes them next. Loving one another has been the greatest adventure. They are so excited to become husband and wife! But, they are also surprising some of their friends! Their friends think we are simply taking a birthday trip, and Briana and Josh can’t wait to see their faces.
