Morning Micro Wedding – Madison and Ian

Madison and Ian – July 15, 2023

Morning Micro Wedding

We were honored to be a part of Madison and Ian’s beautiful morning micro wedding at Chapel in the Hollow! The chapel was adorned in elegant white and hunter green, creating a timeless and picturesque setting for their special day. The succulent florals added a touch of natural charm, perfectly complementing the color scheme.
Madison looked radiant in her satiny strapless dress, exuding an air of classic beauty and grace. Ian looked dashing in his black suit, the perfect complement to his stunning bride. In a heartwarming tribute to their loved ones who have passed, Madison had pictures of them attached to her bouquet, keeping their memory alive on this joyous occasion. Her grandfather’s dog tags were lovingly kept in her pocket as she walked down the aisle, a touching reminder of his presence in spirit. Adding an extra layer of sweetness to the day, Madison’s daughter served as the adorable flower girl, symbolizing the joining of their two families and the beginning of a beautiful new chapter together.
We are truly touched by the love and emotions that filled the air during Madison and Ian’s heartfelt ceremony. The support and love from their families and friends added an extra layer of warmth to this intimate celebration. May their journey together be filled with endless love, laughter, and cherished memories. Congratulations to the beautiful couple on their union!
From the Bride:
We met at Mellow Mushroom. He worked in the kitchen and I worked as a server. We were friends for a while before we fell in love. We spent the day kayaking on the Ross Barnett Reservoir in Mississippi sharing our love of nature and wildlife. We spotted alligators amongst thousands of lily pads. I took her to an island where we each took turns doing the rope swing. We laughed as she barely made it to the water. We then explored the island and watched the beautiful Mississippi sunset reflecting off the water.
Ian proposed to me on New Year’s Eve. We were at World’s Fair Park. We counted down as we watched the ball drop. Our daughter and I screamed happy new year and I turned around to see Ian down on one knee. Fireworks and lasers were going off, everyone cheering, but all I could hear was him saying was how he didn’t want to spend another year not married to me. It was beautiful. We decided on an East Tennessee micro wedding because we love the mountains, and when we found The Chapel in the Hollow, we knew it was perfect. It is a beautiful and intimate venue. I am looking forward to being able to kiss each other for the first time as man and wife.
We love to travel to new places with our daughter, Mayla. We love to hike new trails, find waterfalls and go on picnics. When it is just the two of us, we love to go to music festivals and appreciate the art and food of different cultures.
