Morning Micro Wedding

Olivia and Matthew joined us for a morning micro wedding in the Smokies. They dressed the chapel in white with our blush and marsala florals. She used our bouquet but brought a smaller sola wood matching bouquet for her adorable kiddo. They switched things up and did all of their photos before the ceremony which let us get into the field around 10am for GORGEOUS morning photos. Her dress was satin and lovely which was perfectly paired with her hair and makeup style by Southern Sirens. He was styling and profiling in his navy suit. Congratulations, Olivia and Matt!!

From the Bride:

The first time we met was at a mutual friends house for a fish fry. He honestly did not even talk to me lol. The next time we met was at his house for a game night with friends. I was very shy and was sitting alone so he came and sat down to talk to me. We talked for a while and ended up having a fun night. We became best friends after that. It was seven years before we actually started dating and another LONG five years before he finally proposed.

We had a wonderful first date. Because we were so close to one another there was none of that “getting to know you” talk and a lot of the nervous jitters were not there. We spent the day together and then went out to eat at an Italian place. We finished up the night by going to see the new Star Wars movie in theater (we are both nerds lol).

Matthew proposed to me. We went out for a nice dinner and when we came home he had flowers and the ring waiting on me in the house. I walked in first and when I saw the flowers I turned around and he was down on one knee.

We decided on East Tennessee for our wedding because I have always loved the mountains and we wanted a place to have a small intimate wedding. I am so excited to finally share my life completely with my best friend.

We love the hike and play video games. On dates we do anything from hiking, to seeing a movie, to staying in and learning to cook a new meal. We try to change it up so we do not have “typical” date nights.
